- We have a look at the nesting box design and why we have designed it based on the environmental conditions we have encountered on Fat Cow Farm. We look at the elevation, the sun's axis during summer and winter, the cooling and warming of the nesting box, order removal, cleaning and the most important egg collection. I'll see you soon!

Hi Warren, we will be planning open days but still need to sort out our infastructure on the property before this happens. I want to to make it just right for the public. Thanks for watching, cheers!
G'day mate, what's with the watering system you have? Currently I have ours outside on the ground but I like the idea of yours up high to save getting the straw and other soil muck in it from the girls scratching around
Hi Greg, I'm using a toilet cistern in a bucket and then gravity fed with float valves. The pump is a sea flow 12v solar unit. Check out previous videos heaps more detail. Cheers man and good luck.

What do you have at the bottom of your nesting boxes under the straw
Hi Danoz - i've placed 50 x 50 welded mesh and used fence palings for a walkway for the girls to walk around. Cheers

@@danozdirect3749 Sorry Man, just form ply. The non structural stuff with a black film coating on it. Its easy to keep clean. Cheers
