Perfect movie -- people forget just how it launched the genre. We're constantly crediting the X-Men and Blade, but the sheer number of box-office records on this one really opened eyes for studios. On a thematic level, there was something very empowering to see your favourite hero going up and facing evil in the wake of those horrific days just after 9/11. I understand that the film was made before that, but it was certainly released about 6 to 8 months later, and there was just something deeply resonant about coping with loss and dealing with it with some level of moral innocence. Love this film. My only complaint was that it the beautiful Kirsten Dunst should've been Gwen Stacy instead of Mary Jane!
Cast is perfect in this sam raimi spiderman. All actors were amazing and this movie is a masterpiece. My childhood best spiderman Tobey Maguire. There is no comparison with this movie. This is above all the superheroes movie for me

One of the Spider-Man trailers featured the song “Leave You Behind” which was use I believe in one of the Matrix films. And also the scene where MJ is running from those thugs in NYC before Spider-Man saves her, hear the soundtrack and it sounds so similar to The Matrix’s soundtrack. Btw let’s not forget that Doctor Octopus in the second film looks like he’s cosplaying every Matrix character lol
That was a great video. The interviews with the cast was great. This is definitely the best cast for the original trilogy. Hopefully, the studio’s can make Spider-Man 4 and can get Toby, Kristen Dunst, Sam Rami, and most of the cast and crew to come back to do the movie also it will be great to get J.K Simmons back as J. Jonah Jamison. Anyway, those are my thoughts hopefully Spider-Man 4 does happen I will love to see it. 😀❤️👍

Right? MJ played by Zendaya is such a boring character. Whenever I saw her on the screen she looked so indifferent about things going on around her and her character is just very very bland. She's forgettable in that role.
