I like the theory that says the orange princess was killed and replaced as a final "Fuck you" to the knights. In the painter's room, we actually see paintings of the orange princess stabbed in the back and on the ground, giving a hint this may be the case.
The necromancer looks like the villain's ally, which is much stronger than the main villain himself, but prefers to be an ally than the head I like this kind of characters

His body color, the particles flying away from him when he is defeated, the method by which he summon minions, his sharp teeth - isn’t he a troll? He could just learn magic from ruins and maybe his eyes are yellow because of the presence of magic in him. Also, we don’t see fur on him, perhaps because he just washed, which his brothers don’t do.

something about the simplicity of castle crashers is so beautiful. whether you’re just chilling on a rainy night or you and your friends are on a journey to save the kingdom, castle crashers delivers. it’s not over the top and doesn’t take itself too seriously for what it is, yet always leaves you with a satisfying feeling until the next time you play.
I remember finding the industrial prince but i actually grabbed the telescope before killing him which in turn just completed the Level. I went through the entire level again just to kill him.
I don't think the evil wizard betrayed the prince for no reason. I think the prince gave him the princess on purpose and tried to escape with him in terror, but the evil wizard was MAD at him for FAILING to defeat the heroes which is why he left him for dead.
Indeed. It'd also be crazy to imagine the makers doing the impossible: Making the Evil Wizard an actually interesting and threatening villain. In the base game, just about all of his henchmen could make for better villains. Hell, even The Painter!

I’ve been thinking about the same thing for the past few days, and I think a stop-motion animation adaptation would fit the game perfectly (especially the painter). If I ever worked on my stuff I think it would be a super fun thing to make, but all I do is talk about learning stop-motion, never actually doing it. Never finishing any puppets.
Correction: the bears are actually evil because the thieves that you fight before you go into the cave one of them has a bear flag in them and those thieves are seen stealing the princesses

The Thieves are actually part of the Bear tribe. The Catfish Rider is working with the thieves to try and stop you, and when the two Princesses are handed off, one of the thieves pulls out a Bear tribe flag.
I don’t think every thief was part of the bear people. They Share territory along the Forrest and river, I can see them having an alliance, but the rogues were defiantly hired by their employers, we even see a pay off before entering their Forrest
There was a fan-made series that was made in the late 2000's-early 2010's by someone on TH-cam, but unfortunately the series was canceled after the wedding crash mission was animated and released.
Could you do a video on the true identities of the knights, I think they all have special origins and aren't just regular knights that serve the kingdom. It's even hinted at in the game since majority of bosses and enemies have similar elemental abilities to the four knights

The luckiest princess is probably the green one, as she wasn’t put in a cage (well, after the groom died she was) or dead(I speak of the orange princess) or left on the log until it was cut, she was the bride of a decent warrior of the Conehead Empire.(Unwillingly, of course.) I apologize for spoilers if you aren’t at the Conehead Kingdom part.

a head cannon I always had was that the necromancer was just hired by the evil wizard and was doing what he was told to do because the evil wizard was paying him based on the way the evil wizard fight and the necromancer fight are compared in difficulty and how they fight and if they were to get into a fight necromancer would be able to quickly kill all the evil wizard's forms with the crystals being smashed in their the bubble phase is just a free win as he would just fly over the attacks, the spider phase he would be able to kill and reanimate the cult minions to his will and how during the final phase with the dragon sword being able to fly all around and swoop in for an attack and also shield bashing the evil wizard during the spin attack and the overhead swing. so if this evidence is true from what we know just from what we see in-game the necromancer could have been hired by the evil wizard as they could have been one of the best fighters available to hire with the added bonus of being able to bring back any lost allies to suffer zero casualties. but that is just a head cannon and theory.
i really like that theory, we know very little on the wizard and necromancer. i would love if we find out more, maybe the necromancer was once a knight (hence the combat skill, being able to block our attacks etc..) and he wanted revenge on the king and the kingdom
I think the necromancer might have been created by the wizard like his Minions just that the necromancer was the most advanced and powerful version of his creations we never see below the helmet just like the cultists and he also shares those red eyes
It would be cool if a pizza tower mod was made of this- Pepperman-of course is the painter, Peppino would be the standard knight(perhaps starting with a randomly chosen color from the 4 base game knights?) The vigilante could be the cyclops(since both are looking for revenge of some sort and are both given either a bittersweet end/ are taught a lesson) The noise would be either the prince, or a miniature ice king(as the ice king taunts you/mocks the player) Pizza face would be wizard Mcdarkmagic’s huge grotesque true form (because pizza face starts as a big well, pizza face and turns into a smaller being afterwards) While pizza HEAD would be the wizard, but either buff or wielding the sword And lastly who can forget fake peppino, would probably either be the necromancer (because the clones) or my personal choice, it could be a deformed, fake peppino shaped troll, with smaller trolls being the clones, and the final chase sequence being the giant troll! I really hope this idea is used as a mod for SOMETHING, as both games are equally wacky in some sense. God bless and I’m praying for everyone! I’m out for now.

Well there's no queen shown either so they could all be surrogate children (or the green princess is adopted idk) (also the queen could just be dead from old age or something so it may not matter)

It's a nod to tricky one of the earlier Newgrounds animations
