During the painter boss fight you see pictures of her with a sword in her back, and every time she's on screen alone she doesn't make a sound or seem to stand up, She just lays there. Finally the fact that she turned into a clown at the very end. Maybe as some kind of last laugh by the evil wizard.
with the boss room details it implies this wasnt the first time the evil wizard tried taking over a kingdom,in the past he most likely succeeded elsewhere

Man, that crystal theory makes the game so much more disturbing. Like you’re killing all these people that are your allies, at the end of the day. But it also explains why the skeletons attacked you if they’re the lava town villagers… and I guess we could say the necromancer revived them, but he couldn’t have brought back all of them. It also explains why all but one regular enemy is playable.
about the last entry, we can see that the area leading up to the crystal castle place that houses all the endgame bosses and the castle itself are full of skeletons and pieces of torn up houses, sheds, and other structures. this probably means there was once a kingdom next to the ice kingdom that has since been destroyed presumably by the wizard and turned into his own lair.

I think within the Under Water section at 4:09 means to reference Waterflame (composer for some music) and Acid Lightning (being some sort of content creator for the game) as being inspirations for the four elements the knights hold (Water (Ice), Flame (Fire), Acid (Poison), Lightning (lightning lol)). I can honestly see the Crystal theory being true as it can actually explain why you unlock enemies after most play throughs ( granted the real reason is probably because playing as the enemies is a cool concept but it’s cool to think about )

I have had a theory for a long time that Alien Hominid, BattleBlock Theatre, and Castle Crashers are all connected. This is because the Alien Ship in Alien Hominid is seen being shot down by a large beam, possibly being Hattingtons after the credits of BBT. Although in AH it is implied that the FBI shot it down, it could’ve just been an alarm that alerted people of Alien Invasion. In Castle Crashers, we also can obviously find both Hattington and his Golden Whale pet, along side the Aliens in their ship that were identical to the ones in AH. There is more to the theory, but I don’t have time to explain it in depth. I might make a TH-cam video on it at some point in the future though.

If you're looking for ideas on Castle Crashers challenge runs, I think I might have an idea, one that's not even too painful. It might also showcase some of the lesser used weapons in the game. The premise is that you must switch to and use every weapon you find during the campaign. This can be through weapons that are plainly in sight, dug up or bought. Making sure you start with a shovel might also make it a bit more fun. Here are also some extra rules ro spice it up. - You can never go into the moose-frog to change your weapon. - Whenever you enter a shop, you must buy the weapon there if you haven't already. - To prevent it from just being a magic run, you can't invest more than five points into magic. (Just to unlock the horizontal projectile spell). Given castle crashers rather imbalanced weapons, this could be a fun run to showcase the ignored weapons while indulging in some hijinks from potential dropped weapons from enemies.
The Pink knight is the pet lady, if you go into the Pet room when playing the game as the Pink knight the lady is missing, just like when u play as the Blacksmith he’s not at the frog head we normally see him at

Well, there are a few things that pretty much disprove the Bear theory. For one, you can see it's real arms when beefy, and they're also covered in fur, confirming it is indeed a bear. Second, the aliens also have the same armor over their arms and legs to fit the style of the game, and we already know they're legit aliens.
RIP hatty hattington,saddest death ever,i couldn't belive what had happened when i first saw the final level and the tragic cutscene that came with it,the final level was a mix of *awesomeness* of the music,the hard timings,and getting to the final jump...when you finished the level,you would go to hatty's room where it was already too late,you took him and ran outside to see all your friends fighting the guards and the storm just adding more tension to get to the ship,when you got to the ship,you thought there was hope,but you slowly realized that there wasn't,the ending was unexpected because i thought he would return to life but sadly no,the hat corrupted him so i hope there will be a sequel to the game or atleast some explanation or some video.

For that last theory about the dead king, I have an idea for it: When you make your way to the Wizard's Castke in the "Wizard's Castle Takeoff" level, there is ruins of a village. Maybe this was the Wizard's village until he turned evil, killing the king, destroying the village, and taking over the area.

If you were to ask me, I would say that the crown, skeleton, and broken chair you see in the wizard boss fight was probably used as a threat to scare the player that the king was killed, because we rarely see him in the game at all, and we have no knowledge of where he could have went.
goodness, i think this is a mandela effect. i was playing xbox 360 Castle Crashers, and i loaded into a online multiplayer match, someone was playing as the troll, someone played as red knight, and someone played as the EVIL WIZARD(not the minion). I swear, i remember it clear as day. That group was how i maxed out my king, beating insane mode with them. I ported the save data to remastered, and yeah, my king is still lvl 99, gold skull.

Alright, time for my genius to show: The Hatty Crystal theory references that the crystal that is taken from the king and CORRUPTED (keep that in mind) could’ve possessed Furbottoms hat in Battleblock Theatre, causing the hat to be so powerful and have the same mysterious glow as the crystal. Which leads to this: The hat is possessed by a fragment of the crystal, which just so happened to have a bit of the evil Wizard remaining inside of it.

I like to think that lava world used to be a somewhat more advanced area as this is the only place you can find more cultured and complex foods like burgers and fries as opposed to the usual fruits and turkey legs. The coneheads are somewhat similar as they have more luxurious deserts.

RIP hatty hattington,saddest death ever,i couldn't belive what had happened when i first saw the final level and the tragic cutscene that came with it,the final level was a mix of *awesomeness* of the music,the hard timings,and getting to the final jump...when you finished the level,you would go to hatty's room where it was already too late,you took him and ran outside to see all your friends fighting the guards and the storm just adding more tension to get to the ship,when you got to the ship,you thought there was hope,but you slowly realized that there wasn't,the ending was unexpected because i thought he would return to life but sadly no,the hat corrupted him so i hope there will be a sequel to the game or atleast some explanation or some video.
16:17 although a silly game the idea now it’s intriguing to imagine that this floating castle of evil went around to collect crystals and bait in the form of princesses but were stopped only thanks to these knights, I mean armour was normally standardised so it’s also a nice idea for the necromancer having a similar design to our armour. I am just glad to see this game again, also I forgot hegreen knight had a special attack like that! And more interestingly, the wiki states that the Arabian/sand knights can also do a unique attack in the form of the sand twirl. I don’t know how and if it’s real. But it’s also interesting, totally not happy as the green knight was the knight I played at the start and the only one so far that I made him reach level 99. I tell you the insane volcano solo was a grand milestone indeed
Come to think of it, there are like 4 crystals in the final boss room. Maybe the evil wizard was going around collecting them, that is a really good theory!

About the acid lightning, i actually discovered this recently when playing but when you are poisoned as red knight and use the lightning magic, the lightning bolt is green!

you really should've mentioned the full map theme unheard in the final game, and that it was made by stamper, who voiced hatty. also johnnyutah drew all the character select art.
For that last theory about the dead king, I have an idea for it:
When you make your way to the Wizard's Castke in the "Wizard's Castle Takeoff" level, there is ruins of a village. Maybe this was the Wizard's village until he turned evil, killing the king, destroying the village, and taking over the area.

To be honest, knowing how Dan Paladin designs things, I can safely say that the details in the background or similar things to it are just made because they were either funny, or just wanted to decor the thing.

Well no sequel but in case you haven't seen it there's gonna be a dlc for the steam version that overhauls the graphics (you can opt to use the original) AND adds the ability to upload custom characters to steam workshop which you can pick the magic for as well

If you were to ask me, I would say that the crown, skeleton, and broken chair you see in the wizard boss fight was probably used as a threat to scare the player that the king was killed, because we rarely see him in the game at all, and we have no knowledge of where he could have went.

i was playing xbox 360 Castle Crashers, and i loaded into a online multiplayer match, someone was playing as the troll, someone played as red knight, and someone played as the EVIL WIZARD(not the minion). I swear, i remember it clear as day. That group was how i maxed out my king, beating insane mode with them. I ported the save data to remastered, and yeah, my king is still lvl 99, gold skull.
Acid lightning is a castle crashers youtuber that does a lot of content such as a guides, playthroughs, personal challenges, etc. He's also ranked top 10 globally on the kill leaderboard if you check in the castle crashers game. this is because he is very good at juggling and does a lot xp grind, so he racks up a lot of kills over the many many many hours.

Alright, time for my genius to show:
The Hatty Crystal theory references that the crystal that is taken from the king and CORRUPTED (keep that in mind) could’ve possessed Furbottoms hat in Battleblock Theatre, causing the hat to be so powerful and have the same mysterious glow as the crystal.
Which leads to this:
The hat is possessed by a fragment of the crystal, which just so happened to have a bit of the evil Wizard remaining inside of it.
the demon statue is where you unlock hatty in the switch version. since bbt is not on switch, you can buy him there for i think a thousand coins.
what if the dead king in the boss room is actually a queen from our kingdom the kings wife the princess mother i know the crown doesnt look like a queens crown but maybe maybe its a dead queen how knows? (the behemoth knows, pls tell us)

My older brother and I had a theory where at the end of the game the Evil Wizard killed the orange princess and the king didn't have another princess so he got a clown for the last princess.
for the dead king in the end i think i might have a theory, we have the industrial prince in the industrial castle but we never saw an industrial king, maybe the dead king is the industrial king?
that could be true, maybe thats why the wizard betrayed the industrial prince?

I like to think that lava world used to be a somewhat more advanced area as this is the only place you can find more cultured and complex foods like burgers and fries as opposed to the usual fruits and turkey legs. The coneheads are somewhat similar as they have more luxurious deserts.
