What masterful sound's engineering, where the narrative is drowned out by superfluous "music".
Good effort but you need to turn the music up louder so it completely drowns out Evan.
That's exactly what we want to happen with autistic Evan 🙈
Yep, Evan's repetition of what we can already hear for ourselves is really effing annoying🤬
I fast fwd past Evan every time.
Whoever does the sound needs to be sacked, shocking job
I wish one of the dragons would invest in a sound editor
Too right - the background music was too loud
Background music is far too loud...!!! 👎🏾
these 2 have good bussiness brains which work perfectly together
8:56 Love the way Richard Farleigh shoe horns himself into bed with Duncan here. Haven't heard a peep from him so far what a boss 🤣🤣
Bummer about losing that much value after the Den! 4 pounds…
JUST LOOK AT DUNCAN'S FACE AT 10:48 ,THAT WILL MAKE YOUR DAY
PROMISE,even THE SAME FACE AT 11:08 TOO LMAOOOOOOO
11:08 is hilarious

Can you guys please turn the voices down?? I can't hear the music!!
I love when Jones eats humble pie
One of those series where Peter was really off with the majority of the entrepreneurs, regardless of how good they were.
Didn't like the arrogant nod if the head and the way he looked down on people too
Pretty simple negotiation tactics. Also I think people don’t at all understand the gravity of the opportunity cost of investing in early stage businesses like this.
The music is too loud.
It drowns out the narrator.
That's the point.
That's a good thing.
It's a staple of this show, they keep doing this even in the newer seasons.

That is a good thing, he does not tell us anything we don't already know!
Who edits the video thumbnails and video titles? Pretty huge difference between £4.00 and £4,000,000.00
Google them . . They have a turnover of over 20million . .current company value is around 4mill
@@rogerreed905 I'm talking about this video channel's editors regarding their thumbnail saying "£4" (four pounds) and the title saying "£4M" (four million pounds). I'm not talking about the company featured in this video.
@@Eidolon1andOnly on the banner . . Got ya . . 👍
@@rogerreed905 *The company was dissolved on 6th February 2013.*
@@Trigger_000 there is one site saying that but theres still an upto date web site with current information . . .
While it may well have been "valued at £4m months after The Den", Igloo went into administration in 2010 and wound up by order of the court in 2011 ... but yes, I see that makes for a less pithy video title!
Company was dissolved in 2013. Company traded very poorly based on the fact that in the final Administrators report, showed that there was an estimated £932k deficit.
Suprisingly, both Duncan and Richards investment went through - So sadly lost out on this one.
They trade under the name TOTAL TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT LTD now
Thats a lie
So why is Alistair the CEO of Igloo thermal logistics today?
You are really bad at researching.
given what happened when DHL took over the KFC logistics deal, the idea is, they want to be far better than the "DHL of Frozen"
Unwatchable with the music drowning out any commentary.
Peter shaking his head when they’ve barely started talking showed he could get it mightily wrong at times.
Duncan however was right on board and cannily got the deal.
Is it £4M or £4? Video titles abit wrong.
*a bit, two words.
For once it’s not my dyslexia kicking in, £4 on one title and £4M on the other
Huh? 4 M of course...
@@scienceevolves4417He was referring to the hilarious typo on the thumbnail
@@darthmetallus1977 ah, I see it now, so they missed just one letter on the thumbnail.
Imagine if my bank missed that
@@crazy-jakeprobably not a legitimate risk. Hehe
Ruined by the music being louder than the voice over.

yes
yeah but who cares what evan davis has to say? literally never says anything of any value

"Paddy m says I've nothing of value to say. But peter jones has a question that disagrees with that statement."
The music is not high enough. Needs to be higher. I can hear the narrative way too clearly.
Company went into liquidation in 2011 and dissolved in 2013.

Sound engineers on the juice again
Omg the commentator again sounds like he is talking through a ton can please ❣️😳
Ton can?
35 seconds and Peter shakes his head. Is that a record time?
Nope
0:17 Entrepeneur says hi, 0:35 Peter is already shaking his head and looking disgusted. The Dragons were such moody arses in the old series.
True.
Yes because nothing is ever edited on tv to look a certain way
@@vics749but if it never actually happened, what would be the point of editing this?
@@vics749 In all of the Dragon's Den episodes I've seen I've never thought that a reaction from a Dragon has been taken from a different part of the show and inserted it into another conversation to make it look like something happened that didn't. And I don't think it happened here. Peter is probably disgusted at the percentage offered.
Because Peter could easily foresee what eventually happened to the business.
The idea is great but to do it well it takes huge money and resources. Nothung a startup can do.
Now this is an old episode
The sound mixing on some of the episodes is a total joke 🤣
The bloke with the glasses looks like Michael Harper from My Family.
I like them
The £4 had my interest too 😂
Sounds like the audio engineer needs to get his ears checked. That's abysmal mixing.
They've dissolved, & on the Indeed job website, they get 2.5 out of 5 from employees.
those young men are very good, they will succeed.
Peter stated (in effect) that the business is so successful that they don't need his money and therefore they are wasting his time? I think it's him whose brain has fried - exactly what he told them
Happy lunch time everyone btw 🥪
Breakfast time in Australia 👋
Couldn’t watch it. Music to loud
Music is way too loud!
Where do you get this informations in the comments? I have no clue what happened with the dragons. would be nice to know their way of exit. Igloo company went into insolvency. Their debt was paid off by Total Temperature, and last year it was valued 225k equity.
Is that it? Refrigerated transport??
Nice to see Hugh Grant got investment into n his company.
Ethereum 🎉
Tin can sound on the commentator so annoying
0:35 why does Peter look so annoyed already lol? He’s heard nothing about the business.
Because one of them said £160k for 8% and right away Peter knows it's never gonna happen
These guys were very thorough and clearly knew their market and how to provide good service. The dragons, especially Peter, were unfair, in an era when Peter wasn’t the coward that he was today. Sadly, he has gone the other way. Peter was the best in the mid seasons in the early to mid 10s!
Surely someone knows how the business is getting on these days?
The company was dissolved on 6th February 2013.

"This Business Was Valued At £4M Months After The Den"
By whom? And were they willing to actually pay £4M for it? Anyone can say "I put a value of $200m on this".
Looking at their returns the business was never worth anywhere near £4M, £1.5 was the highest it got years later before going bust.
These dragons are stingy, I once invested £60k on two people who had nothing, and I am not a millionaire. I lost the money, but the adventure was great.
“the adventure” = ✨ vibes ✨😅
You just explained why you're not a millionaire and they are lol
£0 is the real value of this business not £4M lol
The dragons were so rude in the early years
Admin and dissolved.
£4 LOL
good job but not a good pitch closed body language know open hand ilustrater gestures insecurity protecting the jewels etc
Fire the sound engineer/mixer....Awful
0:30 onwards 2 or more dragons at the start who's ball sacks was visibly seen shrinking. These lads did very well
Bummer about Deborah's aging process. Imagine what she looked like 20 years before the Den... A page 3 stunner💃
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
No way 😅
Apparently she looked like that since she left high school
Did they take this from a VHS? 🫠 📼
