Just googled this guy and his business. He actually has investors now and they're working towards making his dream come true. Peter has no idea how interesting a WWII tour can be for education. I personally went on a tour in the Netherlands to experience what it feels like to be a refugee. It was heartwrenching and also insightful, memorable. My friend said he felt more empathetic after it. One doesn't always want a carnival-type experience.
Seriously. People visit concentration camps and war museums for crying out loud. It's not supposed to be a happy experience, it's startling and should leave you with a sense of awareness and immense gratitude.
This guy has thought of a way to revive and utilise a space in a contemporary way - while paying respect to its history.

It’s true, these kinds of tours actually builds one’s compassion and helps you appreciate what we have and what we don’t have to go through.
I always hated anything historical and war related, I hated it making me depressed but at the same time, it was very insightful and actually helps build your personal character.

As an American, when I visit London I would absolutely love to see this part British history. It kind of fascinating the battle of Britain and how the British people survived it. One thing I would recommend is having a pub at the entrance as well. That pub could also have $1 shots when the air alarm went off and the shots were in the underground area. Just a thought

Kilmainham Gaol (jail) in Dublin turns over millions per year from tourists visiting. Full of history and people are fascinated by it. It is one of our biggest tourist attractions here in Ireland.

2 million does not grow on trees, thats a lot of freaking money. The whole point of being this kind of investor is to spread yourself thin across multiple projects so as long as one is highly successful you dont care that the other 50 flopped
@@goldenbrown3283 You are classed as a millionaire if your net worth is above a million. Net worth is asset minus liability. The home values would be asset and the remaining loan would be liability. If your guy were to sell all of his properties when the property market is on an up turn, he should have a million or more in cash (assuming he’s genuinely appraised as a millionaire). That’s more than one property worth.
But being a millionaire or super rich doesn’t necessarily make you rich in terms of liquid asset where you can just dish out a couple million at will. If you’re money is stuck in property, it’s not that easy/worth it to covert to cash.

It’s a shame what happened with Ajeet, he was shafted off the project and his case went to the high court which was dismissed. He also lost his wife in the process because she feared for her life, “as apparently people have going missing” over disputes like that.

Too many people use the word, ‘it’s horrible’ or ‘I feel sorry for...’ but they can’t imagine the magnitude of the experience so they need to go through itself. Reflect on the past and the present. I would go there, is more than any museum. Is emotionally educational.

I think it’s a fantastic idea and a fascinating piece of London history to commemorate. I’ve read a lot about the underground stations during the Blitz and there’s so much that generations can learn from it. The Dragons are just a touch too materialistic.

I do wonder what the dragons look for sometimes. I’ve heard them say so often that they “don’t want to run the business” for the pitcher yet on this one, where he was offering the opportunity for them to sit back and not run the business, they complain that they won’t have enough input 🤦♂️
Have these so called Dragons ever been to London? Its packed full of tourists, tourists will happily pay more than £18 for the experience, to learn the history and culture and this is someone who went to see where Anne Frank's hid in Amsterdam.
The downer is the lease, for £2 mil for an abandoned station is steep.

Also 2 million is not much for the project of such scale. With the right team and marketing it can be golden. Sadly, it's also very risky of there are no initial assets, connections or support.
I wish the conversations between the dragons after the entrepreneurs left was included in the show. I believe that would be hilarious, insightful, and educational.

I think he did well with his presentation, the real issue was he was pitching a concept to individuals that wear both suspenders and belts at the same time.
Problem is he had it leased so it wasn't his. It was half finished, small and had little sales. He also went for a 2 mil investment which is crazy. You're a shark you get tens of pitches every episode, you want to be conservative with your money and go for the ideas filling out the criteria

Not the best idea, but he stayed polite and pleasant throughout, which is far better than a lot of these "entrepreneurs" can say
You can say what you want but I found this pitch very interesting and unique. Both the structure of the offer and the project
dragons always play it safe so this is why as investors they’re pretty tame, they’re not that hip to the trends or market so they’re judgement is always old fashioned like you’d be surprised at what people would pay for and how well this business could do, a great pitch imo if you understand the events market enough

Either that or she was stuttering a lot or something. This show has awfully bad editing though, like they take the Dragons pulling a face and place it into a totally different pitch as if that's how they reacted to that.
I work in editing, it sounds more like she was stuttering or had long pauses between words that they cut out in order to shorten it.

@@RagingCookie127 Off the top of my head, first thing I can think of is that just about every interview is cut down in the way I mentioned above, it's just sometimes easier to make it sound normal. It's why there's always cut away shots, or even random shots of the interviewer nodding along thoughtfully lol

The Imperial War Museum had a 'blitz experience' where a number of people could sit in a room that was shaken around and smoke was pumped in (it wasn't real smoke). That was back in the early 1990s when I went there.

This was done in Vancouver, BC to relive Barkerville, a Gold Rush town, It was fabulous. I went through it. However, the original rush to attend kept it booked, but it fizzled quickly. It went bankrupt.
