I have seen millions of videos when guys go out with high end expensive gear and eat caned food. This bloke just casualy walks out in the bush with no food in hes Freaking sweat pants and sneakers. You Sir are a fkn king. Love it. And you got your self a new sub from the other side of the pancake.

Great stuff! And for those people who have never eaten properly-cooked possum: you don't know what great food you are missing. Try eating properly-cooked possum, it's as good as turkey or chicken, and they are everywhere in the bush: free organic meat. Another tip: We store our uncooked meat inside a plastic bag and then sink the bag with a rock into a stream. Keeps the meat cool like a fridge, and keeps the flies off it. You can store a whole deer carcass like that, by placing a few big rocks into the chest cavity so it sits at the bottom of a river pool. Makes the meat go a bit blanched where the water touches the meat, but deeper inside the carcass it stays red. Carry one possum trap with you in the bush and you'll never starve.

Came on TH-cam to find the correct way to catch and cook possums, as I´ve got dozens of opossums tearing up my veggie plot and fruit trees on the edge of the Mexican desert......Now I´m on my 3rd video of watching a guy doing his own thing out in the bush......compulsive viewing. Have you ever try cooking the deer ribs?
Just cut them in 6" slabs rap them in tin foil and throw them on low coals for a hour.

Nice video. I have hammock camped for several years now and love it - penthouse in the bush. Looking at how you pitched - if you went higher in the tree and had a loose hang with about a 30 degree angle on your suspensions you create a softer lay in the bed of the hammock. When you cinch it tight it hardens the bottom of the hammock and actually destablises the hammoch a bit. Cheers
