Swelteringly Hot Deer Hunt on Waitangi Weekend | a nice spiker for the freezer

Tasman and his sister ventured out in another heatwave on Waitangi weekend for a meat mission, plenty of deer seen and some average shooting skills with the regular cooking show rounding it all out.

I know exactly where this is, as we used to hunt here regularly during the late 1970s, and always did well here. A great spot. Great video. Shame the formula Gnnawww equation Gv = Pt x S / D didn’t work out for those two stags on the hill… but if you’re the stags, that’s not a bad thing. Looked like a fun climb up de hill….. and the camembert always cracks me up…. tough hunting dude chooses soft French cheese every time. The issue with the shot was the swirling wind, no doubt. Did you feed any of the hut people? They would have been drooling. Seemed like a really fun trip.
