@@rudmerv Hey thanks for watching, The radios are a good piece of kit, but nowdays the inreach gps is good to use and alot smaller. we bring both.,,battery's are the only cost for the radio.
Keep up the good work and great footage Fred , love it when a new one comes out, great bit of country just up the road from our stomping ground in the Whirinaki
Great vid mate. I'm sure it takes a lot of time & effort to put together so much appreciated. I'm in ChCh so was cool to get an insight into the beauty of the Ureweras. Cheers!

What an awesome vid. I hunted that area with my pig dogs 20+ yrs ago and the burn was a grunt then lol 😂 you do bloody well mate. Superb shots of deer up close, brilliant mate.
Thanks ,second trip with a newer gopro 9 ,much better camera than the older one, The drone is sill a learning curve learning some better camera settings.

Wicked video mate, I hunt that area a heap, take young fellas in there for their first deer. Good to see those animals in good nick, you get a few leaner models in there cause the herds so big

Thanks for your feedback mate, really appreciate it👍👍, The radio is Condor, they are allso called Codan, They are getting hard to find, there are newer models, but not cheap, its alot cheaper and easier to get a gps that you can txt on, they go for about $500 to $1000 or so depending on which one you get, Thats what I use now most of the time, way smaller and lite to carry.
Hey mate, love the vid. Good no bull shit content. If you get time. Would love to know the name of the tune you put on when doing that drone shot. Was into it. Cheers

Hey Taniela,,thanks for coming along

I wasn't aware people were still using those mountain radios! I remember using them in the 90s... Most of the fun was in setting the aerials up.

Cool Chris, say gday to Jas for me,
@@nzmeateater yes will.
You are the definition of a proper hunter, not going too someone’s farm and shooting a 12 point red off the back of a ute. Cheers for the vid🤟
