Thank you so much for taking time to share your recipes. Could you please tell me…Is it easier to use bean mode to cook beans that’s are not soaked for sometime…Or does it need to be soaked before cooking even in bean/ grain mode?
Hi, I'm using the new instant pot duo plus 60 9 in one pot. Please do share some recipes that will be easy for my mum to make using the presets on that. Thanks!
Hi Guru! Now I’ve tried two of your recipes and they are awesome! Thanks a lot. I have one curious question though. In the Mong Dal/Yellow Split recepy. There you use 1tbl spoon of Uru Dal. Like it is a spice when in fact it is a legume. How come? 🤓
@@GuruRecipes Oh I see! Thanks a lot for clearing that out for me. I bought this big bag with Uru Dal and thought, yikes this gonna last for ages. 🤣 You learn something new everyday. Thanks again and keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Peanut oil was used, you can use vegetable or canola or corn oil too. Red chili powder link Indian Spice Deep Chili Powder Red (Regular) 7oz- a.co/d/e2YoARp
Hi. I have one question. When you saute onion and cumin in oil before putting lid , do you do it while electrically or we need to put on stove. Actually I just bought instant pot so I have no idea. Please reply
I just can’t seem to understand what’s the difference between a normal pressure cooker and an instapot cooker? Is there anything specifically different or enhanced that an instapot achieves over a pressure cooker? So far I don’t see any added benefit 🤔
Instant Pot can reduce the cooking time. Pressure cooking requires less water than is used for other cooking methods, and we can set delay timer when to turn on.
I dont understand your instant pot recipes. They are all same...add mustard and jeera seeds, then onions then tomatoes then masalas and then the veggies or whatever you are cooking. What is the point of your videos?
The point of his videos is to educate those people (like me) to cook. What is the point of your comment? What are you hoping to achieve by asking him what the point of his videos is?
@@gimmemilktea84 what is the point of your comment? Lol. Educate by showing same video over and over and only thing that changes is the vegetable. Rather create one video and just say replace this for this curry etc etc
No this is perfect for someone whos just interested in cooking. Stay with your own ideas. It’s easy to turn of the music. If you need to follow the recepy you can pause at the text. With verbal instruction that is harder. This is great! Will try it out this week!
really enjoyed video with just focus on the recipe and no unnecessary talk! thanks a lot. You covered so many recipes in one video! kudos!

Thanks for your feedback. Adding urad dal is for tempering, which enhance the flavor.

Testpilot, You can make lot of recipes with urad dal like idly, dosa, urad dal vada etc.

How is it different from pressure cooker recipe?
It is electric pressure cooker, you can set timer, delay timer, saute function and so on....

I do it in instant pot base, but as inner pot is steel you can put it on stove top too.
🤗👍👉🤝🌹

What cream do you use for gravy ?
Heavy Whipping Cream
How does it differ from regular pressure cooker
It is same as electric pressure cooker with different settings.

Why cream in every curry. Daal and chole
u don't need to put cream. Otherwise good video
Thank you. You can skip it.
No need to cook mung beans for 30 mins! 6 mins max!
Thanks for your suggestion, but for whole green moong curry you will need more than 20 minutes.

Say it instead of writing, it's so boring just listening ugly music and read the instructions.
Thanks for your suggestion
