    I wish they made them in high viz yellow/green for use with my street bike riding gear. They should have put a few shotgun shell round loops on it somewhere too.

    The only thing these pants are missing compared to major competitors, is a way of adjusting knee-pad height, and tying it up to your legs.

    Sadly the knife pocket is not really designed well. A better place would be outside of the cargo pockets with a protection flap on top. Like fjäll raven does it with their outdoor pants.
    On the UF Pro you have a high chance of losing the knife when moving and damage the pants.

    I have a really dumb question about these pants, do they come in a tapered fit? I want to get these to wear for hiking and outdoors stuff plus work, but i also want to occasionally wear them as a casual pant but am afraid that they come super baggy like most combat type stuff does.

    • @DaMuses
      @DaMuses 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      They are not baggy. They are closer fit uniform pants/shirts. They are the best combat pants/shirt set currently on Earth. Without a doubt. They're expensive though so be prepared to "buy once, cry once".

      yes, they are good, i use a pair of these, but they are NOT the best!

    I like your video about these pants, but you forgot to mention the ability of the inner zipper. It's absolutely stealthiest inner zipper that I've found. It's in the inner part of pants and it's very well hidden. If you don't know about it and it's purpose, you may never find him. It's for the cold weather insert pants. I have to be honest about it, because if I don't know about him, I think I will never find him. And I'm wearing those. But it is the last thing you can mention about them. They don't have the knee pads setting wire or bungee, but they have many, and I mean MANY size options, so you have to have properly chosen size, but once it fits, you won't want another pants. They are just awesome, and I tried a lot of them. I don't wanna wear another pants for my duty, until they allow me to wear shorts on summer days.

    Do you like this pant over the new 5.11 XPRT pant or the Cry G3? How would you rank these 3 pants in order of preference and overall quality?

    • @janamt49
      @janamt49 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hey, I've worn the UFPRO and the Crye G3.
      And I can say, that I prefer the UFPRO. There are much more detailed solutions in this pants, than on the Crye, and it seems much more durable. Especially the Kneepads are awesome. It ist not correct shown in the video. You can buy another, third layer of foam. So you can upgrade the pads from basically one layer up to four layers.
      And, another cool feature:
      There is an small hook at the ankle, which can be fixed on your shoelaces. So the pants can't move up, when youre walking.
      And, last but not least: you actually can buy 2 STRIKER XT for the price of one G3.
      Unfortunately I can't say anything about the 5.11
      But in Germany and most other countries in Europe UFPRO is the brand of choice for most law enforcement and military units. Most of them have worn crye in the past but now switching to UFPRO.
      Regards

    • @Tremulousnut
      @Tremulousnut 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think one's better than the other, they cater to different customer bases. Crye is more field-friendly than the UFPRO. The use of zippers everywhere on the UFPRO pants is a cause for concern, even if they are quality zippers.

      @@pramodkaranth9479 I wear 32/32 in all of my pants mostly and my UF Pro's are also 32/32. As I said, they are a bit closer to the body at the waist but otherwise fit fine! If you're interested in them, there will be a new version available (Striker X I think) end of this month. You can look it up at their webiste. My only criticism of the Striker XT is that the pockets with zippers are a bit narrow to get into with gloves and that the knee pads tend to be on the outside of the knee rather than centered, which is a 'problem' they are aware of.

      @@Vanalos yes, I keep seeing ads on Instagram for some gen 2 pants with optional Velcro on pockets and closure with Canadian buttons... sick design....I even spoke to them on Facebook...they recommended 34/36 or 34/34 for my 36 inch waist (could be an inch and a half more ;))...as you're telling me that the sizing is pretty much consistent, I think I'm sorted....was also thinking of getting the crye field pants...hope they're true as well....any idea as to what the difference is between striker XT and striker HT?

    • @Vanalos
      @Vanalos 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pramodkaranth9479 AFAIK the only difference is two zippers left and right the front of your crotch you can open for more air circulation. It's for high temperature zones.
