In the 1960s and 1970s, various automobile manufacturing companies were locked in a fierce battle to produce the baddest and coolest looking cars, and Ford was right there with the best. In today’s video, we’re going to be looking at one of the few vehicles that stood out in 1967, the 1967 Ford Mustang the Industries Nightmare. The Ford Mustang got its first major redesign in 1967. And the redesign was a major success, and the 1967 Mustang was generally recognized as a step up from prior Mustangs.
This vehicle rose to fame and became popular after appearing in the Nicholas Cage remake of the movie - Gone in 60 Seconds.

The '67 was a classic. However, you consistently show a '68 in this video. The two years were very similar, but in '68 there were rear quarter panel reflectors, front quarter panel lights, the wings on the Mustang logo in the front were removed, the MUSTANG lettering on the hood was removed, the the MUSTANG nameplate on the sides was done in script (not the standard block lettering found in the '64-'67 models). The interior of the '67 and '68 were virtually identical except for a change in the steering wheel center column, the addition of a high-beam indicator light on the dashboard, and the addition of shoulder belts. Otherwise, an excellent video!
