As an Orlando local creator THANK YOU for always coming and shining light on some of the great eats we have here. I am so proud of our foodie scene and you always do it justice 🥹👏🏻
Orlando being my hometown it gets a lot of crap for being a dull city but the food scene has changed a ton in the last 5 years. Thank you for highlighting the city Mike!
Agreed, keep hearing about more delicious places opening up. Haven’t been in over 8 years and it was for sure chain restaurants haven. Can’t wait for future food visit to Orlando.
@@amarnauthmahabal8879yeah that spot gate keeps other cuisines. “World of food trucks” should be renamed as just Latin America. Then again, most of their population there is Hispanic but the hot pot place across from it is good. Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ!

He said "empanadillas" which is also a right way to call those empanadas in spanish, because of the size of those that are smaller, in spanish we also call those "Empanadillas" that is what he said
Listen ppl weather it's cheap or pricey... Really 24hours or not... He's making content to show us what is up in Orlando like if you don't like it don't watch.
Next time you're in Central Florida, do a taco truck tour through wimauma on 674 Sun City . There has to be at least 30 taco trucks with in 10 mi it's similar to Mexico city
Those things all looked delicious, but allow me a token cheapskate moment by saying that I will *not* pay no hard earned $20 on two tiny sliders and a bare fistful of fries. That's just crazy, to me, and spare me the foodie outrage, some of y'all.
No need for foodie outrage, its blatantly obvious just going into a shop for 10 seconds if theyre in it for the love or in it to rip foodies who will gladly pay triple whats something worth. In Aus the big one is "american" burgers and chicken shops, generally southern style or Korean
If your in Florida you got to go to Brooksville to the RED MULE for there red mule sandwich pastrami Reuben steam bread get the side of there Mac and cheese or best is there potato salad?
In Puerto Rico, it’s called an empanadilla and Orlando has a large Puerto Rican community so he’s dead on with his pronunciation. Y’all can lay off my mans now lol

The suffix, “illa” implies that something is small, so empanadillas are single serving and hand-held, like Latin American empanadas .”
Why is everyone giving him crap about the empanadillas? It's literally what they are called on the menu at 9:13. Blame the food truck, not Mikey. Maybe it's somone who was trying to do a diminutive "epanaditas" but doesn't speak Spanish?
Makes sense but sometimes you just want more meat. He’s generally never been one to worry about what the best deal is. Having a double meat sandwich looks better on camera than eating two of the exact same meals.
@@patricklee802 true..but you could take the meat off the other bread and have double meat...and you still get your sides..and bread after if you wanna eat it.. lol

He said "empanadillas" which is also a right way to call those empanadas in spanish, because of the size of those that are smaller, in spanish we also call those "Empanadillas" that is what he said
Empadia The feeling of guilt for the lack of empathy towards a certain situation or a certain person whenever the situation requires a person to feel bad for the circumstance. The best way to describe this feeling is, feeling bad for not feeling bad. This emotion has two main emotions attached to it that cause the person to feel Empadia, Acedia or Apathy and Empathy. Empadia can easily become empathy, however the feeling of apathy before feeling any empathy can cause a person to feel conflicted and apologetic because of the lack of emotion in a situation that calls for it. Apathy plays a key role in this feeling because in order to feel empadia one has to not care or feel nothing towards the situation. Once a person has recognized they feel nothing, they begin to feel bad for not feeling bad and thus can be described as feeling the emotion Empadia.
Mike! I'm glad you hit up Ceylon Hut while at A la Carte, they're one of the better food trucks in the city. That night time event is Tasty Takeover and it's only on Tuesdays, but there's plenty of events on a nightly basis. If you ever need any recs, just ask!
If you ordered double meat on that pastrami sandwich, it ought to be stacked, wall to wall, with meat. Their bread did look very delicious, as well as, their tuna melt and pickles. Pickles are standard procedure, especially with certain sandwiches, let's say, most, if not all sandwiches. ❤😊🥪
That truck selling a $14 melt is the equivalent of McDonald's selling a Big Mac sandwich only for $3.00 honestly some of you all have no concept of owning a business much less a food business. You'll gladly shut up when Starbucks goes front 4.98 for a venti to $16.99 but the moment a food truck tries to make enough to pay it's employees a living wage, purchase product and utilities and saving for a possible expansion it a crime.
I use high quality items my dish costs 6.80 a plate but because I've got haters who thinks the food I make while extremely enjoyable shouldn't be 12.99 so I'll charge 6.99 so I make 18¢ a plate and can't even drive to get more product for tomorrow. Then they have the audacity to complain that I closed.
Wait do some people not know what mosquitos are?? Ive always lived in Florida and I always thought everywhere had mosquitoes. Also just saying, you're saying empanadas wrong.
