    It's definitely a more satisfying feeling when you repair parts rather than just replacing them. Keep up the good work👍.

    Nice fix as always . I am a bit sceptical about the vibrations of using the hammer and chisel causing the magnet holder to break but your reasoning was right to go for the squib itself . Good one Luis .

    This is very helpful! I have mine apart now and it is exactly the same issue (2006 Liberty). Do you have any tips for when I put it back together? There is an arrow on the housing - at about the 1 o’clock position - does the magnet align with that? Thanks again!!

    Good job. Can I ask what glue you use for this sort of thing. I find super glue not very good and araldite is a bit messy. I'd have been tempted to get a sensor from eBay.

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually used superglue...
      I checked as you can imagine, and was quite well secure...
      What I tend to do, and did in this case as well, is scrape the polished surfaces where the glue is going... that tends to give a more rough surface for the glue to adhere...
      Usually works pretty well...😊😋

    Hi 😊
    Nice work there and really brilliant.
    Actually I hate working after someone touch -_-
    Sir i have a question and seeking for a help .. I am working on Land Rover Range Rover 2019 Hybrid with 2.0 L.
    Abs and traction control lights are on due to an accident happened to the car .. the abs module is bended so I replaced it and reprogram the second hand now abs light is off but the traction control light still on.
    The faults about lost communication with yaw rate sensor and invalid signal from lateral acceleration sensor.
    After 2 days of digging about the location for these two sensors I found them inside the Restraint control module itself.
    I replaced it but still the lights on.
    So my question does the signal of these sensors send by CAN wires or they have their wires .. wiring diagrams don't show that.
    How could I solve this problem.
    Really appreciate sharing your experience :)

    Hi. Just a quick question. You say this isn’t your main job. Can I ask how you got in to car diagnostics. Was it self taught or have you had training. I have been watching loads of your videos, more so in the last 9 months due to furlough and redundancy. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your videos

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi
      Self taught... I have no background whatsoever on car mechanics or electronics...
      I just like to "mess" with things...😊😋
      I mainly help friends... and then the friend of a friend... etc...
      Thank you for watching my videos, and for commenting!

      @@LMAutoRepairs Thanks for getting back to me. Having the confidence to do what you are doing is great and encouraging to know you are self taught. I have always done my own car repairs. It’s only been more in the last few years I have taken more interest in the diagnostics side of things. I have always had older cars with out obd etc. Until I bought a diesel Vauxhall zafira and had to learn how to use OPCOM and now my car is a MINI COUNTRYMAN It’s now a case of having to learn more about diagnostics because of the cost of taking it anywhere if it was to break. So learning NC EXPERT, INSTA D. I don’t have the tools you have just a same make multimeter and a Foxwell nt530.

    Why did they hammer it there's much easier ways to get them off you just get a saw or a angle grinder and cut a sloth in the screw well outside the car inside I'm not sure.
