Using both lanes until the final pylon mere is not a dbag move. It’s the recommended method of driving for traffic efficiency by making use of all available roadway. You should make use of all available road and then zipper merge only at the very end. This is unfortunately no longer taught in driving education, but is well known in traffic management.
About the single lane merging, Google Zipper merge. This is what it tell you to do in any driver's license learning manual.
please continue to film these video there are very exciting
On road trips with an overnight stay and a convenient SC location I like to do my charging before I get to the hotel. The reason is that doing it that way the battery will be warmer (even much warmer) than it will be in the morning. Of course, that isn't an issue if I can charge at the hotel overnight.
Abby we are for the car, not to see you sis 🤣
Welcome to Tennessee. I hope to visit Canada next Spring. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for making the effort.
NY, Massachusetts, Connecticut runs typically 40-42 cents/kwh. Found a few places in southern New Jersey at 34-35 cents/kwh. But the best, if you have a CCS to Tesla adapter, is free charging at a few stops on the NY State Thruway I90 and I87 (of course, you have to pay the tolls, but you recoup more than that free charging). They list the spots on their website.
the amount of the like count is who all thinks I should buy a TMYP
very, very good video.
Heading to Gatlinburg this Monday, Sept 2023 from Houston for a week of cool westher.😊
I really liked the cool video, keep it up. Greetings from Germany !!!
Tesla just updated BC and Ontario KW/hr rates now it adjusted based on demand to as low as 0.20cents per KW, but also increased at high demand times, thanks Tesla!
I would hate driving that far in any car (never done it in a Tesla) but that’s cause my family stops for 3 seconds at a time so I think it would be nice to have the Tesla forcing you to stop
Gotta love the timmies, im in the uk right now looking at a tim hortons
I stand corrected on low demand times the lowest per KW rate is at Richmond Supercharger on Steveston Hwy in BC at 0.10cents per KW, that rocks and in BC it's all water under the bridge (practically all BC uses Hydro electric) so our cars run on water!
*Hi from Toronto Dax. I am looking to get a (2023 Model Y Long Range). People online have gave mixed reviews about the MYLR and it's range. Tesla has rated it at 530KM of range. But in the real world on a road trip it is more like 430-480KM is that correct with 90%-100% charge? I need to know how many hours can you drive before you need to charge up next? Is it 4/hrs? 5hrs? or 6hrs? Say it is a summer day and going to New York City from Toronto?*
New subscriber here really enjoyed the vlog! Thanks! picking up our MYLR in a few days as well super excited. This question might be silly, but by chance are you Filipino? 😅
Tesla should sell a supercharger plus kit that has a few escooters and something to charge them on the battery so you can zip around the lot where your charging
Love the roadtrip! I’m got the same color YP picking up this week! What pct is your tint? 20%? I really happy I chose the blue!
The tint in this video was really dark. About 15% on the front and probably the same in the back. It’s really dark. It was difficult to see out the front windows at night. It was pretty much dangerous when driving, so we ended up getting it changed to a much better (and what we originally wanted) 35%. I’d highly recommend that. It fits perfectly for most people and looks nice and clean while having good heat rejection.
You’ll love the blue. It is a beautiful colour and not so popular like white and grey.
@@DaxM oh which video has the updated tint? I was leaning to 20 but think 30 is better. Cleaner. Classier.
@@SeahawkMomentsI just recently got a chance to change it and I don’t have a video of it yet. It’s all a matter of preference but I much prefer 30-35%. You’re right, it’s cleaner and classier IMO
Its 29 cents canadian per Kwh at the lvl 2 superchargers in Victoria, BC
I wish you could tell it how frequently you use the restroom and when you would like to have lunch and it would find chargers with those amenities at those times
I live in Columbus Ohio, there’s some super chargers for $.25 per kwh
cross country race tesla vs Subaru outback ... who gets there first and by how much. Maine to Florida to California to Washington and back to Maine.
What wheels do you have? Awesome video by the way!
Thanks. The wheels are by Fast Wheels and they’re the EV04 style
I live in Toronto and we can chat if you want. There’s absolutely no issues going low with the battery. Show me anywhere in the warranty papers where it states that? Charging over 55 for daily driving there’s no point because you will incur much hire degradation.
My wife and I love Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We did this trip in our MYLR last year - leaving from Sarnia and down the I-75. Stayed in a cabin in Gatlinburg. The Smokey Mountains are made for Tesla's!
It was an amazing trip.
Curious, what wheels and tires do you have on your Y? I like those and they look like decent all seasons?
The rims are from Fast Wheels. They are the EV04’s and the tires are the stock 19” Continental ProContact RX that come with the car from Tesla.
Washington pa my neck of the woods lol
Is the instrument cluster new? I didn't think the Hansshow H6 had CarPlay.
It’s actually old. I had this one on before the H6. I put the H6 to test and review it, then I switched back to the 9” CarPlay screen
Great video!! Idiots in California wait until the last moment to pull over when traffic lanes are being worked on and I hate it.
Sheetz.....did you sheetz your pants?
