Yes!!! His show was one of my favorites, I loved it when he have Sammy Davis Jr and Bing Crosby on. The Rat Pack. He was the ultimate showman and entertainer.
Did not know he was a horse/animal lover. Gorgeous man and entertainer that he was. What a wonderful life he had -- until his beautiful son was killed. I’ll never forget it. He went downhill after that it seemed. Nobody escape grief in this world and your lucky if you escape tragedy.
In the 1970s this was one of the most played songs on our local pub juke box. Dean had it all..charisma, charm, looks and a very unique singing style. To sum it up, he had something called "class"

I remember watching this Christmas special (Dean's last?) back in 1977 and thinking how only Dean could get away with a Christmas special without all the usual Santa, sleigh, and snow trappings. And the beautiful horses made a huge impression on me.

Dean loved horses, which says a lot about him. Riding an Andalusian horse, a Spanish horse of ancient lineage. The horses loved him too, you can see it in some photos, and in another video of him outside in a paddock with a group of youngsters. He took his own horse with him when he made westerns, probably didn't like the way horses are treated on movie sets. And he liked animals in general, along with people.
Handsome, charming, classy, talented, smooth sexy singing voice, tall, Christian, talented actor, masculine ... wish Hollywood still had actors & singers we could swoon over & dream about! 😉😍😍
He was Catholic, not "Christian". In fact he disapproved of Evangelical Preachers who make millions from having a TV show, and talked about it on Johnny Carson. Basically - you can't send money to God. He was very attractive, but did not put on a "macho" look, because he didn't need to. He was confident in his sexuality, had no need to prove anything, so he could express his feminine side as well as his masculine side quite easily.
