I am in the Philippines and I have one of the Suzuki minivans that are very common here. The seats fold down to make a perfectly flat floor. I could use one of the perfectly fitted inflatable mattresses they make for a sleeping area in the back, and these SUV tents would be a perfect addition for camping. I will definitely be getting some version of this.
why tail gate tents.. seems it limits your ability to get in the vehicle and drive off for a day trip or exploring? any one with Pros/Cons
Some are designed to be 'drive away' .. they stay up, with or without the car. I like to sleep in the back of my vehicle, and have my kitchen setup and equipment in the tent.
