Down The Dust Pipe was #12 Hit on Australian Charts in 1970.
It is a very significant song in the evolution of Status Quo.
The song is a music epiphany for me.
It rates as one of my favourite songs of all time.
    Let's Rock.
Roy Lynes on Piano is outstanding.
    Thanks Roy.
I was 9 yrs old when I heard it at a school mate's 9th Birthday party.
It was on a compilation of a Hits album called Red Hot Hits 1970.
Somebody told me to stop playing it after the 5th or 6th time.
Part of the song's charm is that it is only 2.02 seconds long.
I now own 33 albums under the name Status Quo.
Though, when Spud and Nuff left in the 80's they stopped being an authentic QUO.
    Very sad.
Though from the 60's to the early 80's they brought a lot of joy to me and millions of music fans.
Credit goes to Carl Groszman for writing the song.
    Thanks Carl.

"Is it Really Me? Gotta Go Home" is the LANCASTER Classic from Ma Kelly's album.
9'34" of mind-blowing dual Lead Guitar play and thumping Bass & Drums.
In 1974, when I was a young teen, somehow, I discovered that QUO had earlier albums.
Not only did they have Ma Kelly's and Dog of Two Head albums, which blew my young mind, QUO had a previous life playing Psychedelic Pop/Rock.
My 13 yr old brain was trying to make sense of this Band.
This was because I'd already heard Matchstickmen & Dustpipe years earlier.
How could this be the same Band?
Well, like most QUO fans, we'd 'stumbled' upon the greatest Rock Band of all time.
I've always thought that "Lakky Lady" (Rossi, Parfitt) should be a QUO Classic.
"My eyesight is broken, when the light shines on her thighs and I love her and I need that woman so................
      Go The QUO!!!!!!
