Love these out takes from the ‘Hello Quo’ documentary. Please keep them coming 👍🏻
Ma Kelly's, IMO, THE album that defined the "new" Quo. My absolute favourite
such a compassionate dedication to a song, from a person who has written great songs himself.. - I've never heard Francis rave so much about a Ricky song although there are opportunities enough ... too sad
DOWN THE DUSTPIPE is one of the greatest Rock songs ever made.
It is QUO's longest Charting song.
In the Charts for 17 weeks, that is a long time in the UK.
It is a 2-minute gem.
DOWN THE DUSTPIPE was on an Australian compilation album called RED HOT HITS 1970.
DOWN THE DUSTPIPE was a big Hit in Australia.
Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon & Dog of Two Head are two of my favourite QUO albums.
I have images of a lot of Gunja being smoked in the studios whilst they were recording.
1970 & 1971 were QUO's big transitional period.
RIP RICKY❤
April spring summer... is so cool.
Find interviews with Rick far more interesting than ones with Rossi
Rick is far more coherent and in control.
Rick's comments have a beginning, a middle and an end.
Rick doesn't go off at tangents, then ask " What was the question?"
I understand that Francis has a lot to remember and that his life has been very busy, I can empathise because my thoughts always remind me of something else and I start talking about the new thought. Sometimes I can't remember the original topic.
The older you get, the more you have to remember.
I agree!
Oh yeah, the lyrics for "IN MY CHAIR" are far out and cosmic.
" I put my car back in my pocket and I'm still here in my chair"
If it wasn't for DOWN THE DUSTPIPE & IN MY CHAIR, QUO may have disappeared from the music scene.
I imagine that they didn't have much money in 1970.
Shy fly is a belter
