On top of the pops they weren't great, but from the first time I first saw them Live - Empire Pool Wembley - 1973 they were in a class of their own. Happy memories. Sadly, they are not the same without Rick. RIP Mate.
Me and a couple of school friends went to that concert in '73 (it was our first).. What I always remember was how we could hear then practising as we approached the concert hall they were that loud. Along with the Great British New Year's Eve Rock Concert in '75 where Quo topped the Bill, were the two best concerts I'd been to. Happy memories.
Me and a couple of school friends were there that day. They were so loud we could hear them warming up as we approached the venue. We sat outside listening them play Big Fat Mumma and Don't waste my time. Sure, they weren't great on top the pops - too commercialised, but as a Live Band they were something else.
Good shortened version of the song - never liked the new verse though - Francis Rossi seemed to have banished this to the older version of Quo and only played the song part to appease the fans
In couple bootlegs album this pass 25 min in the interviews Rossi said long live version don’t work in live many some people wanna listen the most popular like ( whatever you want , Caroline etc etc )
Tanta salute per te FRANCIS ROSSI ❤

Why? ...just why?
a bit naff compared to hello's rawness, to much of this has been lost to the engineerins and mix 1/10*
That keyboard part in the song makes is low for me. Doesn't sound right with a keyboard
