Lol I love your interactions!! Jane's eyes go wide with what Ann comes out with. It's hilarious. Ann's like a mischievous child and Jane struggles to keep her reined in!!
What do u mean? Miss Ann is wonderful & very knowledgeable if Jane would only let her speak & stop cutting her off. Listen to the U video Ann gave in Canada to a plant based audience about 10 yrs ago; She was fabulous by herself!
Great video! Truly puzzled, however, by questions about "being irritated by each other" and "letting your mom speak more"?????? There is OBVIOUS love and consideration in all your videos and I think it's spectacular that you both make your videos as a team. Some people just want to see conflict in families, even when there is none (or very little). THANKS for sharing your personal advice!
I completely agree with you! I think Jane and Ann have great comedic chemistry and are very entertaining to watch. They are the perfect types of people to get out all of these awesome messages and tips on how to be healthier. The love is there for sure!
I agree. I don't see conflict or irritation at all. I see a healthy relationship where it's safe for each to express themselves, and they are quite expressive and jovial. The biggest rift is whether to squeeze or ream lemons. And, btw, I think the squeezer gets the most juice. I was just given one for Mother's Day, and love it!
Thank you for putting your lives and encouragement out there on TH-cam. Your family is truly blessed to work together on the same ideas! We have benefited so much seeing how creatively a plant based lifestyle can followed ❤️
I've never had an impression that you two were irritated with each other. What I do notice is that you two listen intently to each other, and don't tend to talk over each other like a lot of hosts do to each other. It's refreshing! I also can tell that you not only love each other, but you truly respect each other. And I truly love the humor that both of you have. You two are smart women who are down to earth, and I love that about you. :)
My family loves this team. I see the love. Makes me miss my mom. Cherish these days and keep making these videos. We love them! You guys work real well together
I ADORE you two !!!!!! I absolutely love the banter and need it as I'm trying to get stronger on plant based ! I 100% believe in this way of life!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!
Y'all make my day!!! I LOVE both of your passions for good health and good food!!! When I think I can't finagle my meal planning any more...just seeing y'all prepare meals, literally makes all your books come to life!!! Thank you both!!!! :) k
To me you guys are so real, not irritable so refreshing. and you clearly love each other so much... I love how you act just like real mothers and daughters. I had a stroke 5 months ago at 51 yo and your whole family has inspired me so much. Please keep making videos I love watching. I can't tell you enough how much your dad and mom's book, your channel, your cookbook and engine 2 has encouraged me that I can still live to a nice old age!!!! My teenage boys are eating healthy... They love the french fries!!!
Who’s kitchen are you making these videos in? Would you consider doing a kitchen tour and maybe include favorite gadgets or what’s in the pantry and/ or fridge ?
I adore you & your mom (& your dad & your brother), you are such an inspiration, thank you for your amazing guidance and everything you & your family does!
This was so fantastic! I hope you will continue with Q&A’s every so often. My questions are: Can you make the cauliflower buffalo bites from your Prevent and Reverse cookbook and offer a dipping sauce to pair with them? I made them last night with celery and LOVED them, but wished I had a complimentary sauce that would work. Also I am planning an international trip next year to Italy and I’d love tips for what and how to bring food for the LONG plane ride as well as how to eat WFPB while out of the country. Thank you both. 💕
All I see is the mother/daughter interaction, I love it! Thank you for your videos, I never miss them and have watched every one of them multiple times.
I could have listened to this for hours. I can never get enough of you two. In fact, I can never get enough of the entire family! Sure don't understand some of the questions. I've seen nothing but fun, loving interactions from all of you. Have you ever considered doing a live video where people could interact with you via chat? Thanks for taking time from what be crazy busy schedules to do these.
I love watching and listening to the two of you! There's always so much more that you offer to your audience. Your side by side commentary is the very best ever!
The way I have interpreted the interaction between mother and daughter is you are extremely close but sometimes get on each other’s nerves just a tiny bit. I actually love the interaction it shows the levels of mother daughter interaction whatever the reason. Mother daughter relationships are always complex no matter how close. It also makes me miss my mom who has Alzheimer’s. We still have our funny exchanges but I never know who is going to greet me from day to day. Love that the videos are short and recipes easy. Exactly what I need. Lightens my day as well as improving my health.
You two make me smile! I'm sixty three, lost my mom when I was 16, BUT... I have a great relationship with my 28 yr old daughter. You two are great mom/dtr relationship models!
You guys are the greatest! Our whole family watches and we are making lots of new recipes... so thanks! :) Keep em coming! Jane you are great and your mom is just the sweetest thing!
Great q&a session. Love you ladies and love the new intro, such a great summertime vibe ! But it's missing the sweet Lab, so I was delighted to hear your doggy in the background.
I enjoy watching both of you!!! Thank you for answering the questions, new to this way of eating since January, I am feeling so much better! Keep doing these videos, most helpful!!!
I’m rewatching your videos because I love them and learn or notice something new each time. When I first started watching I thought maybe you were irritated at your mom but then thought maybe you were just trying to keep the video moving and keep them to a certain time limit. I don’t mind watching a longer video at all. If I’m learning something or am enjoying the content I don’t mind at all. Love y’all !
Thanks for the Q and A! If you host another Q & A I would love to learn more tips about weekly meal planning with several very hungry guys in the house (both everyday meal planning and holidays/vacations).
Oh my goodness you answered my question, I love you guys! Saving people, saving humanity, saving the world! Tell Doc and Rip we love them too. Where there are people as yourselves, there is hope. I don’t need the sriracha, but if it gets people onboard, hallelujah.
Thank you for that last part! Growing up in the heartland we say that we grow the veggies we don’t eat them. Getting all of this new food in & being ok with it being bland (no salt) is difficult.
I actually thing you guys are really cute and I totally love how respectful you are of each other. My daughter and I just started eating plan based and we love watching you guys.
I’m new to wfpb and excited about the health benefits to come. Thank you for your videos. Your recipes are easy to follow and make the transition phase easier!
Hi, have your books and tried the Carrot dog last night for the 1st time! Wow my new go to for the summer💖 I've been eating WFPB since last August, and turn 77 next week! Feel fabulous 💖 thanks for all your videos!
My Dad had to lose his leg last autumn because of atherosclerosis (even though he is slim & generally healthy damnit!) So we have all been using your Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease books to help us try to save his other leg. He is doing amazingly well so hopefully we aren't too late! Thank you sooooo much xxx
Really look forward to your videos. After I got your cookbook from library along with couple others, I decided I liked yours best and wanted my own copy. My daughter-in-law bought me one for Mother’s Day. Yea!
I am a lucky girl because I have a local baker in Watsonville CA who makes oilfree sourdough bread. In fact all his bread is oilfree but some have seeds on it. This baker says that the best breads only have four ingredients: Salt, flour, yeast, and water. The longer the ingredients list the unhealthier the bread. Sunamo Bakery also sells at Whole Foods and Nob Hill and other markets. Look out for them if you are in California. They rock!
Fun..never miss a video..bought your cookbook, and as summer aproches, it will be my life saver, so thank you for that. ..Ann, do you, I love watching you and Jane. You make me laugh, oh and because of you Ann, I now only drink oat Milk, love the sweet taste. See you are making a difference!..keep the videos comimg!
Loved the Q&A. You guys picked all the right questions. You hit the nail on the head about coconut milk. The fat is something I have to watch for. I do love the taste of coconut milk so the idea of using the extract is a game changer for me. Love you guys. New vegan here.
I have a question - Why the coats on? I love you new summer-time intro! Is it warm there yet in OH? It is beautiful here in VA. I really have to come up for a visit - after all I am a Buckeye (borned not raised there though). Have a blessed day!
Totally agree about the juice. Years ago, before I was diagnosed as a diabetic, I was drinking at least a gallon a day. My thirst level was through the roof and instead of drinking water, I chose orange juice. I'm surprised I didn't die!
One of my staple and favorite meals is coconut yogurt with chia seeds, flax meal, pecans, shredded coconut, raisins and fruit. I was so sad to hear coconut is not so healthy to eat. Do you have any other suggestions? I suppose I can try making very creamy steel cut oats... On another note you two are my favorite to watch! I love every thing about your clips.. keep making them!! please and thank you!
Regarding the coconut everything, which should be avoided, what do you think of nutpods just in coffee? Once in a while i just want a cup of decaf and i dislike almond milk in it. Love you two. You are hilarious and I learn so much from you both.
Love watching you both! I also love your spice rack...is that a homemade one or did you buy it somewhere? I have so many spices, that would be perfect!
Thank you for this video! You and your Mom are an absolute joy to watch! If you don't mind, I have a few questions that I keep coming back to. Did you keep to a plant based low fat diet while pregnant? It seems practitioners stress consuming "healthy" fats during pregnancy and consuming salt. What types of foods did you consume during pregnancy in order to keep yourself well? And lastly, do you consume honey? I know some won't consume it due to it being an animal product but how do you feel about it? I know it's best to consume very low amounts of sugar so I don't assume even if you did that it would be often if at all. If you would please consider answering my questions, I would be most grateful. Thank you!
No juice and ?probably? no caffeine or hot chocolate... Could you two share some ideas for summer teas or other cold drinks? I'd be interested in warm morning drinks, too. Thanks so much. I love your channel and think you two are a hoot!
I love these Q & A questions, I have several questions, how do you guys feel about Coffee?, and, do you you guys ever have a garden, and, if you do, can we see it? please!!! make more Vids
I'd love to see a garden, too, if you have one. Also, I think I saw a video somewhere with Caldwell Esselstyn saying caffeine is bad for endothelial cells. So, maybe decaf?

I've tried washing it and I'm working on toasting it before cooking, but so far without success. Do you have any tricks that make it more like the texture of the restaurant rice w/o oil? Thank you.
In respect to the gas/bloating it helps to soak and rinse any pulses and add the Ayurvedic spice, Asoefitada to dishes with them in. Fennel and mint herbal teas also help, and peppermint oil capsules if it is really bad.
Just discovered the two of you recently. Love watching you. Just recently bought your cookbook....LOVE IT! You are so practical and helpful And entertaining with your videos! I have a question about coconut water. There was a question about coconut milk and I totally get that. I thought there was a benefit of the electrolytes in coconut water. What is your take on this?
I love your videos, you both have such wonderful spirit. I do have one question: I don't use much salt. When I do, like you, it's usually in the form of a little bit of hot sauce or mustard or low sodium soy sauce or something along those lines. Given that, is there any reason to be concerned about my iodine intake?
You two are adorable! I guess I may need to rethink my love of organic plain white grapefruit juice and tomato juice? Ouch. I drink them when I can't get good fresh fruits.
I think you two are perfect and real; don’t change a thing! Love your videos! ❤️
Me too! 💙
Lol I love your interactions!! Jane's eyes go wide with what Ann comes out with. It's hilarious. Ann's like a mischievous child and Jane struggles to keep her reined in!!
K Catfish I agree. Cute dynamic

And, btw, I think the squeezer gets the most juice. I was just given one for Mother's Day, and love it!
I don’t like coconut in any shape or form either. 😊
Whoever thought of the both of you running with that fork at the beginning of your videos was brilliant!! I love it and I'm sure others do too!!!
Thank you for putting your lives and encouragement out there on TH-cam. Your family is truly blessed to work together on the same ideas! We have benefited so much seeing how creatively a plant based lifestyle can followed ❤️

Hooray for supporting your local NPR station! 👏🏻💕👏🏻
I have started eating veggies and lentils or beans for breakfast. Have you ever done that?

Love you two! I’m close to my Mom and she’s my inspiration. Obsessed with WW points and her Fitbit! She is 84 and can run circles around me!
Always love your videos!! And your enthusiasm and camaraderie is awesome! 💞

I wait with anticipation for your videos every week. We love collard sushi!! Thank you!

You must have taped this over the cold weekend. What a cold one it was for Mother's Day.
Loved the Q&A. You guys picked all the right questions. You hit the nail on the head about coconut milk. The fat is something I have to watch for. I do love the taste of coconut milk so the idea of using the extract is a game changer for me. Love you guys. New vegan here.
You're spot on with the assessment of Ann in the first video. She's already checking her watch a minute into it hahaha
I think y'all are awesome you make eating healthy seem so easy and fun and you relationship is so cute!!!
I think you guys are hilarious! And I love your food tips, so thank you!
It is Springtime! Loved this video!
My weight is dropping since I stopped vegan "junk food". Thank you for all your great recipes!
You guys are awesome ❤️
Your interaction is adorable!
I just got the cookbook from my library!! Yay!!!
love you guys, keep these videos coming
Love you guys!👍☺️
I love kale just rinsed in cold water then cut in bite size with Anns hummus-orange dressing so good!
I have a question - Why the coats on? I love you new summer-time intro! Is it warm there yet in OH? It is beautiful here in VA. I really have to come up for a visit - after all I am a Buckeye (borned not raised there though). Have a blessed day!
It was very cold over the weekend, but it's warm and raining cats and dogs now. Our high Saturday was in the 40's.
Awesome! We have had fat rain down-pours in the evening. But I love this Springy weather. Thank you for the weather report, and have a blessed day! ;)
I live in Ohio & I was thinking the same thing! it's HOT!!!
Yes love you guys!!❤️❤️❤️
Regarding the coconut everything, which should be avoided, what do you think of nutpods just in coffee? Once in a while i just want a cup of decaf and i dislike almond milk in it. Love you two. You are hilarious and I learn so much from you both.
Love your videos.
I would love to know what dishes you served in the Forks over Knives movie. Especially the last dinner.
You two are so fun to watch!!!!
You are the best
Thanks for reading my mail!
Take an empty wine bottle as rolling pin. It works!
You are so fun to watch. Real People....:)
Love your videos! 💗💗💗
You are incredible, keep doing it! I have a question: what do you think about non-meat sausages or something like that? Isn't it unhealthy? Thanks, love you!
Love watching the both of you. Question: Have both of you had cataract surgery or something? Or maybe you are wearing contacts. I noticed neither of you used glasses to read your questions. If no to any assistance reading: Yippee to you both. Look forward to more videos.
The next time you do this can you please tell me how to keep rice from getting so sticky? My spanish rice always comes out clumpy.
I think you guys work well together and I also think you guys are funny 😄😆 .
You two are adorable! I guess I may need to rethink my love of organic plain white grapefruit juice and tomato juice? Ouch. I drink them when I can't get good fresh fruits.
