I always make my lentils right after steaming my vegetables... You've already heated the water up and if any nutrients go into the water it will be recovered in the lentils... I take the vegetable basket off and set it aside, then pour a cup of lentils in and turn the heat back on...I never have water I have to pour off..Sometimes I need to add a little more water....thanks for the video...

combined with the dressing just enough to make the recipe perfect!

Wow, what a gift and a blessing you two are to each other, and to all of us who get to share in it. Watching your delightful mother daughter love, acceptance, interactions, and mutual appreciation. You are sharing health and healing in so many ways. Thank you! .. And please don't toss lentil water! Catch it and drink it. Plain lentil water is nectar. Bean nectar. Thanks again to the whole family. Love peace joy and gratitude.

best way to cook rice is same method: boil in lots of water, and pour off excess water when done cooking. this helps reduce amount of arsenic residue in cooked brown rice.

I've made this salad several times, and we loved it! It's taken a while, but just this week I decided I had to have one of those cabbage/cauliflower core cutters Brian gave Ann at Xmas. I just used it on cauliflower for the first time yesterday. I have NO idea why it took me so long to buy such a great gadget. I love to watch you guys cook. Thanks.

A fantastic salad. Love you beautiful ladies. On one of your videos you mentioned that your taste changes after being on Whole Food Plant Based. This is SO true. You actually taste the flavor of food much more. Not all the artificial stuff that people have in their food today. Feel great eating like this for many many years. My husband and I were never big meat eaters so it was very easy to make the change. Can’t seem to get my sisters to start eating this healthy way. ☹️ Please keep the videos coming. Your so cute!

This was really really good! I tried this last night with Jill McKeever's Cream less tomato soup. Both were so delicious. I think I'd add a little more dressing but the greens to dressing ratio may have been off. My family said "weird combo but really good" So, I'm thinking that it was just unexpected. I cooked two cups of lentils and used about half of them on the salad. I used about 3/4 of a bag of arugula. The cauliflower turned out so good! Definitely will make it again.
Yuzu in Japan and Korea (Yuja) and maybe other parts of Asia, they make a jam type of mixture out of it. The mixture is used with hot water for a hot citrus drink. Also used in cocktails.
