I just bought an r32 GTST Type M, myself and I’m in love with it 😍 thing only has 20k miles on it. I’m also kind of an introvert and I do definitely get tired of everybody and their mom wanting to race or talk but at the same time I love that my car can put a smile on people’s faces and I’ve met cool people through ownership already. I’m in a group with about 20 other skylines or so in the Jax , FL area 🤙🏼 met them the first meet I pulled up to, cool people

Stocks seats u be fine. Or nrg has big boy seats as theyre called. Ull be good in those too. I had plenty room in the car at 6ft 230-250
There is one in my state going for 16,500 needs suspension and the dash doesn’t work. And the body needs a lot of love. Definitely would be a project car. Not sure if I should go for it or not.
If its a gtr that's a good price. If its not. Price is way too high. Lots of gtst's going for 9-12k in decent/good condition. Needing minimal stuff if anything at all

Depends on the state. But u can only register it like that if you drive it to shows and stuff. Insurance was cheap tho. I was going to insure it for like 25-30k value. And i suggest everyone insures it for more so if anything happens to it. They get paid out.

It’s depends gtst are cheaper than gtr so that a big thing to look out for but a skyline is a skyline
Go to www.goonetexchange.com and they have several skylines, just look at which is available based on state. California and Hawaii have BS rules about imported cars. Have to be 25 years or older in those states

@@Ilovedeiselguzzling I didn’t end up doing it, I drove a buddy of mines R32 GTS-T around for a bit and it didn’t scratch the itch so I ended up with a 99 Miata that’s going to get turbocharged. It was still a great car but just not the right fit personally.

I'd recommend not getting one. Buy something cheaper and wait until you're out of college. I was in the same boat less than a year ago, and I realized that buying a car that you can't get parts for and dealing with insane insurance rates isn't the best idea. I know everyone says this, but buy a miata (or something else sporty but not a headache to deal with).
Edit: I realize everyone in this comment section is under the age of 18 (me included), don't buy a car like this with all of your savings. I know it's tempting, but please don't get into the mindset of "if i save up for a year I can get exactly enough to buy a gts-t" because you'll have nothing left to do anything. And for the love of god, don't immediately buy a body kit and drop 5k in parts, make sure the car actually runs for a few months before you do anything.
G_TheRichest i probably will end up doing this, my parents are planning on getting me a newer forester which will sadly not be a manual , and if I were to do a body kit on a car I would most likely make it myself, thanks for the advice

Depends on your age, state/city, and driving record. But its not much. Basically the equivalent to insuring a newer nissan maxima.

I found one for sale that had just been repainted. I was gonna do a pandem wide body kit on it with some 3 piece white wheels and maybe an RB26 swap later on down the road

Hey man, just had a quick question, i am getting a car soon and want a jdm but i live in California and we have dumb extra regulations. Do you believe it is worth it importing a jdm into Cali.
If you want it that bad, go for it. But I would highly recommend against it. You have to do some much to comply with regulations, you have to pay extra to get it tested and all that, and if you want to modify it at all you’re basically screwed because California lol
Your best bet is to buy a vehicle thats already imported. Or work with one to get the exact car you want. But california is the best place to get one because they have the largest variety of imported cars even though the laws are strict.
You can also buy one out of state and register it in a place like vermont BUT i highly DO NOT suggest it lol. I know people do it but your best way is buying one already there and cali legal. U dont want to deal with any extra hassle that will ultimately cost you money
im Schwaggy lets say I purchase a car from a dealership like Toprank which is already located in Cali and they import the cars and do the most of the work. Will i be able to tune it and modify it the way i want to or due to California laws will it mainly have to stay stock ?
My concerns aren't even performance, attention or even the cost. Just like you I'm quite reserved and love my loud cars so an R32 is definitely the right choice. It was always the complications of having a RHD affecting vision especially when making left turns. It really isn't that bad right? I guess you just need to be more aware of your surroundings.
For whatever reason as soon as I got in a rhd car it felt more natural. Unsure why, left turns definitely are what takes some getting used to tho. But I think for me it's because I'm in massachusetts and people can't drive. Or people will stop suddenly because they notice you're on the right side. Lol

What would you recommend to make a R32 GTR bulletproof / reliable ? I'm looking at a 50k budget 350-380 WHP
Rb's are pretty reliable tbh. I beat on the car every day and not one issue. And with 50k u can get A LOT. U can buy a built r32 gtr for less and run low boost ull be around 4-500 whp mostlikely.

I'm building my hcr32 right now. Handle your water pump and oil pump and if you can , get the crank collar . It's not needed for below 550whp but and upgraded n1 oil.pump and gear is. Also I recommend a head drain. Change out the ceramic turbo as well. Anything newer . I would recommend keeping the clutch fan and definitely upgrading the intercooler and a bigger radiator. Rbs love heat , so managing that is very Important. Other then that, I'd keep the rpms 8k . No more then 7500. Having a decent turbo, like a gt3071r, very good mid range. Get you some ID1050 injectors and a walboro 450 fuel pump, down pipe and tune and you will see 350/ 400 whp easy. Rods are good for not much more then that , and head gasket is a weak point at 400 whp as well.

its worth it if you like it. to this day i regret selling my r32 and i literally dont regret anything in life lol. my suggestion is drive it. if you enjoy it. and when u go home u think about it for a day or 2. and wish u could look outside ur window and see it. then get it. thats how u know a car is right for you.
Do you like 4 doors? Cefiros and Laurels are better, I use to own a A31 Cef rb20e stock asf with cutties sacked to the ground very reliable work hack and skid pig 😂 the C33 lorry had all the goodies rb20de+T with a 25detbox, juddies, dumpy, external gate 25neo turbo from a 34 ran 15psi no tune loved it but was very unreliable haha dodgy backyard jobs
Theyre pretty cool looking for like vip looking builds but im not a 4 door kinda person. A few of my friends have em. Especially the ones that drift. But me personally, if im gonna have a 4 door id prefer a wagon. I always wanted a stagea, panamera, and m5 hurricaine wagon.

I think it said 35. Great battery. U just may have to change your negative and positive connectors. Some cars have the small terminal things. We swapped ours for thicker ones.

It honestly is tough, especially when people overcharge so much more now. Back then I got mine 13.5k with the rb25 in it. No rust. Now rusty, rb20, sometimes doesn't run or needs work people asking 20-25k. Then the rb25 is like $5k for the engine pretty much stock and used. Sad

Front mount IC does nothing for power. It enables you to turn the boost up, because you can dissipate more heat. It also creates more lag, because now you have more volume to initially fill. Once your on boost, that is another story. Sorry to nit pick. FYI the RB20s have better blocks than the RB25s or RB26s. :) But, I understand where you're coming from, no replacement for displacement. Just so you know, I owned my first GTR in 2001, been in the game a long time. I must say overall, great video. well done!

unsure where you got your story, but i actually have life long experience in r32's and r33's. first modified car ive ever been in, first turbo'ed car ive ever been in, first sports car etc. first car ive been around and fallen in love with due to real life experience with em. not the typical "i saw it on fast and furious" "i saw it in a game" bullshit lol. my uncle RIP to him had an r32, and r33 amongst his modified cars in jamaica.
same with my love for e36's my uncle in america had an e36 m3 back in the day. loved it. and that ended up being my favorite car of all time. which is why im currently on my 2nd one.
also my car is about 320-340 conservatively tuned, and full tilt this setup will make about 430-450 which will be maxing out the turbo.
