Instability means....wobbling? I think it tear half maybe..... complete immobilization....I am psychiatric pateint. What does it take for ortho to ask parents to help with same for 3-5 continuous days .....coz I think it heals and tears in small amounts over time. I know I have issue, but maybe a consult with psych who parents trust.
Hello Sir, It has been almost 4 years since I had partial ACL in my right knee . At the time of injury I faced instability (just for once). After this I had taken physiotherapy and muscle strengthen sessions. But still now my knee pains and creates discomfort. I haven't faced any instance of instability after that. Pain in one angle..? Also 8 months....wasn't much issue...some pain during twist... Cud it tear very slowly.....that it's torn, but knee adapted slowly..in which case it tears and u r ok... somewhat...but knee loses twisting restriction...which means u have to take care for life... Also if fully torn..then will they join together...if good care is there....keeping warm to promote healing....or exercisess that dont extend acl

How long after the injury are you saying do a hoping test? As I tore my knee only 3 days ago and the pain is still so acute. I can hobble walk but if I bend the knee at all it is so painful, so there is no way I could hop on the injured leg…..
you’re in no position to do a hop test right away - please consult an ortho ASAP and get an MRI done. This hop test is used to judge if your knee has healed and you’re strong enough to return to functional activities like sport, NOT to judge if your ACL is ok or not

Hello sir I got ACL partial ACL tear while playing football.I went for sports again and I felt instability i couldn't able to run and give shorts. Then after i stared to take rest. @@anchy0301 mine was a grade 1 sprain so I took prp injections and did some PT N got healed. In your case one bundle is completely ruptured it won't be the same as pre injury even if you did try PT.

I think the coper test should be done only after that person excercise good after couple of months...I had a minor tear...but not good in exercise...took me months to realise the power of excercise and patience.... patience and excercise are very important for recovery....add reverse Nordic also in exercise..
@@devton8679 no surgery and fully recovered and walk normal like nothing has happened...I had minor tear and use to loose balance ..and I don't play etc...I use legs just to walk and jog occasionally....did excercise for 1 year and still doing ...as was lazy initially and was very doubtful how excercise will fix me..but once I realised that excercise works after 6 months I never stopped to excercise....talk to your doctor... When did get injured and how big is it... you need to patient and excercise .... don't stress too much ....

Sir as u said many times you had seen that it was given partial tear but you found complete tear...had u ever found reverse sir? That is complete tear was in MRI but you found partial tear during investigation. As my surgeon even didnt looked at films and said MRI wale aise hi thodi na likh denge.
