don't worry all existence is temporary and fleeting anyway. you should have a laissez-faire attitude to life, less stress that way. we're all taught we have a purpose or living in some kind of a heroic life story. But isn't there a certain degree of vanity in that, in assuming our life suppose to have some kind of importance? The sad truth is no one individual will make any difference? Even if they do, what does it even mean in the large scheme of things.

Drove past the other day, probably about 20 to 30 mins before this happened. I was coming from dollar tree off Freeport close to 5 and was headed down mack road towards light rail. When the light turn red for people to cross , I noticed a group of kids/teen maybe a little older in one off the units facing towards street shooting BBs guns at people walking by on the sidewalk. Like the shirtless homeless dude that walked by got lit up, I knew it hurt by the way he wanted to jump into traffic to avoid the shots. Once I noticed that I turned to my girlfriend and told her I wouldn't be surprised is something happens if they keep it up. This is Mack rd if you know you know. I pray for that little girl. They probably were trying to have harmless fun, but I don't think playing with BBs close to nightfall is a good idea. I could be completely wrong and that group had nothing to do with the shooting but it is strange that they have BBs guns shooting people in rough a neighborhood, then a short time after this hits the news. So sad 😞
