I relayed some of your philosophies on training to the UC San Diego team in the late 90s. The ones who went with it did very well, one won the collegiate national omnium and afterwards rode as a pro for several years.
A six-week riding vacation in San Diego is the dream, no? Fantastic of you, Chris, to make that happen for your son. And thanks for telling everyone about its beneficial ways. And I'm already looking forward to your recaps this season, Chris, tho' we know you fear the recap, lol. Maybe all it extended tactical highlights and call it even. 😀
I took three weeks off last December then jumped into the festive 500, I had a left knee injury by 400km in four days 😂. I wasn't a zero, but I will not be jumping to hero ever again haha.
You look very proud of Jr. What a coach to have.. 🐛➡️🦋 👊 I fuel myself with coke and snickers too during stops. Very effective. But on the bike, I like having stuff in my bottles and gels. Quick and easy no need to worry about melted bars.
Wow….bonking after 20 miles?? That seems highly unusual. Dad……get your boy some bananas & Pop Tarts before he heads out! Seriously though……..I have only bonked after pedaling 3 - 4 hours on an a relatively empty stomach.
So great to hear from you Chris, and Garret too!😊🎉
Great job Garrett. Will look forward to hearing about your first 100 miler.
Look who finally got out of the chesterfield.😃
Welcome back buddy.
Great job Garret! Thanks for bringing us along
BOOYA! Garret! ❤

I'm inspired to do an MtB, cold weather, 75yr old adjustment of this. Basically I count hours not miles.
Been waiting on your 2025 review. That’s where you’ve been
Ah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
Nice to see the boy was born with a full head of hair, unlike his dad.
Chris had the flow going back in the day!!!
Well done.

At that height, GH could be the next WVA!
Good job Garrett
How did you set up Garrett’s saddle height?
If only I had parents who were both elite cyclists! Then again, it might be pretty traumatic getting ridden off the wheel of my 50+ year old dad.
Noice💪💪💪💪
Super
First and welcome back
You should write a training book.
Hi Guys, how did Garrett fuel during the rides? Thanks
