I wasn't a fan of the lights before they were on the car, but they look good all put together. Whatever color you decide to paint it, if you have it painted, you should leave the middle section between the lights black. On the black car you showed I don't think it looked as good when the middle bit just blended in with the rest of the car.
That can be a problem with black cars in general, in that the body colour hides/blends any black trim. A white car will show more of the lines and details of the car, where black kind of shadows everything together.

You know the type X parts are way sick but IMO the money could have been spent much more profitably on the engine. Type X parts are way expensive (at least in the states) and only improves the aesthetics. Now Im not saying its not important for a car to look good but I hate cars that are all show and no go. I always do the engine build before the body. And Im a s-chassis owner myself and a sr20 owner, I rebuilt the engine and got a t28 and supporting mods before I started worrying about the exterior.

I owned proper fast cars, fun handling cars, comfortable cruisers, and now I own a small van with a basic camping interior, sound system and LPG conversion in it while the engine mods barely compensate the added weight. Each car was modded differently. But 1000 dollar tail lights on a "drift spec" car held together with zip ties? Yeah, I agree, that doesn't make sense.

Kouki refers to a later model production vehicle. Zenki means early model and chouki means middle. They don't necessarily have to do with a particular time in the 90s
I have to agree with Marty, they look like ''im a skyline''. They look kinda weird and i cant really understand how they are 1000$... The original ones are not the most beatiful, but it has the layout of being beatiful, just need to some adjustments to the coloring.
I really want a Nissan with those tail lights. Forget that wing though, it's too edgy for that car. I'm sure there are better ones, but it looks fantastic without one too.

110% agree with marty on the kouki tails. the zenki ones look way better. the kouki centre garnish is a little better and looks wicked with the aftermarket half clear zenki tails.
a lot of things make me think this wasn't the mcm 180. there's no rivet holes from the rocket bunny wing. exhaust was changed out for reasons I don't understand. it had a great varix cannon. a lot of parts were swapped out

With homologation dates, getting fresh safety equipment that is usable for it’s original lifetime is hard, with helmets in north America, most car clubs take helmets up to 2 homologation dates old, which is 10 years after the homologation date which can be 6 years after purchase if you are really unlucky
I agree with Marty on the tail lights, and I'm currently working on an 84 Sentra station wagon that's getting an rb26 swap (basically turning it into a double unicorn) so yes the entire internet owns a turbo Nissan
Kouki and zenki refer to the generational differences. All I can use as an example is RX-7's, the 1987 Turbo 2 is considered a zenki, whereas a 1991 is considered a kouki. I needed to know, so I looked it up a while ago.

I think drift kids like short ratios, it's a policy of maximum revs... the higher gear you can still spin the wheels in the better
