6:58 40,000 out of 10, I've been waiting for sequel for 10 years, been a hardcode 40k lore fan (200+ novels) for 20 years. Thank you for reaction. Peace to your home.
Hoping your page blows up, bro! Lord knows I’m gonna be playing tf out of this game when it comes out. Played the first one and it was pretty fun, but the sequel looks like it’s going to be on a whole other level. Much love, best of luck with the rest of your videos, homie! ❤
A good friend of mine is a diehard 40k fan (he sends me 40k memes I don’t understand) anyways this dude is buying me a copy just so we can play co-op together, I’m obligated to play it now
Stacraft did copy Warhammer but it was never meant to be a Warhammer game. That's an internet false story that keeps getting repeated. Blizzard initially wanted to create a Warhammer Fantasy game, but Games Workshop wanted too much creative control, so Blizzard pulled back and made Warcraft instead. When Starcraft was being made, it was never planned to be a 40k game, but it took inspiration from it. Then after that 40k stole-back ideas from Starcraft when they redesigned the Tyranids and made them a lot more zerg-like. This is info based on interviews I've read with Blizzard founding members. Both companies keep eating from eachother's creative choices.
@@Demigodish4o3 So actually fun fact about this and of course its anecdotal so take it for what you will. But at the weed shop I used to work at we had a dude come in every now and then and would talk games. Eventually he wore a Starcraft hoodie in, but it had some sort of Dev Patch on it so I asked him about it. Turns out dude used to be a lead animator on Starcraft 2 and I asked him this VERY question; his answer was roughly "We had talks initially with an 'eager company' [being animatedly omissive] to make a 40K game. Inevitably, the deal never went through but as inspired as we were by the idea we just put our own taste too it." Now, dude could have been full of shit I have no way to know if he was telling the truth but he seemed to know a lot more about other facets of the industry and title as a whole. Thought it was just too interesting because there's far too many close parallels game to game.

Never let that friend go
starcraft actually copied warhammer, it was supposed to be a warhammer game, hence the similarities
Its so crazy how blatant it is. I guess its due to the age? The Palworld situation feels similar and yet it got roasted lol
