The game is janky and is a boss rush game this is a mediocre game.

I think in the next 5 years, the contenders will be Nintendo’s console, PlayStation and PC. Xbox hasn’t performed optimally since the 360. PlayStation remains the mainstream way (in the US) to plate games imo, with the Switch being the second. PC is third and Xbox, Meta Quest, and Steamdeck are good but not here to stay imo.

At the end of each chapter, there is this art scroll, that bloody alone was worth the price, like they give a shit, LIKE a shit ton of care, the way those character stands, bends, there is this unrealisticness in it that I found radiant with love and color, it is so enjoyable. And playing the main character as a monkey, is more immersive than playing it as a gay woman, or black guy, or white guy, or kung fu guy. It's a main character that everyone can distance from and immersive in.

Watching this is bringing back the memories of the suffering I endured in my beginning stage of playing this game Wanderering Wright drove me crazy trust me man u gotta lot of suffering ahead to beat this game 😂 good luck👍🏾

This game is very different than souls games, you got to keep pressing the bosses, keep attacking as much as you can instead of hit-and-wait.

For reason it was actually challenging like you actually want to throw your controller but it actually draws you in to the point you have got to beat this character

Before Wukong, I hardly played video games. This game really fascinated me. Thinking of the first time I played it, I kept exploring and learning, and I felt that it was so complicated and many bosses were so difficult, It's torture...The Whiteclad noble in the first chapter is definitely one of the more difficult bosses

Wait until you beat chapter 1 and go onto more open area levels, as the first chapter is basically invisible walls galore, the second and third chapters are much more open area.

I'm on new game +4. Love this game. Doesn't seem to get old. The new modes are quite challenging. Can't wait for the DLC.

Great thing about Wukong is that it actually gets better and better as you play.. you unlock more and more features.. it's like.. wait stop.. how can you give me a valuable and completely game changing feature in the near end-game.. this is not how games work.. usually lol. This game is a masterpiece, if you guys like this , should also check out the movie' the creation of god', some of characters appeared in the movie as well, such as Erlang, Nezha, and also these four giant heavenly kings,

It would be cool to see Sega enter the ring with a console! Have some heavy hitters on there and partner with some companies to make exclusives that will eventually come out for the other platforms. They could really change things up if they make the console as powerful as the ps5 and series X but not cost a fortune. Have games that don't cost 70 dollars on release. Just be very consumer friendly and they would definitely get loyal customers. Since everyone hates Sony and Microsoft atm there's not a lot of fans of them as there used to be. They can revive a lot of their franchises or do some remasters of classics. Tbh I don't know if a new company could make a console now.

I don't fully agree but I would say you just like the game overall. First of all, when you start the game, it will be cinematic. Monkey runs, jumps, hovers over his flying cloud, meets giant celestials, talk with Erlang, then you get to control and fight. Second, you get tutorials that interrupt your controls, though it's not a billion tutorials, but still stops you with a mini screen tutorial. And yeah, Assassin's Creed Mirage really sucks, Ubisoft sucks. We all know who's the Game of the Year, in our hearts, it is Black Myth Wukong. F the Game Awards.

For me there are 5 consoles atm The meta quests And steamdeck My ideal consol would be the legion go, with a real dock, like switch, nativ steamos so no tinkering, better controllers as the Bluetooth sadly sucks on mine. And if we go next level nativ, plug n play oculink / thunderbolt 5 egpu support Than the only thing missing would be linux nativ stores for epic / microsoft or they sell their games through steam

A platformer game shouldn't even have a shot at GOTY, just like slasher movies don't get a shot at academy awards Especially those platformers made by sony, which laundered 400$mil via concord and have no respect to gamers. I admit I haven't played astrobot, but no matter how much I'd like it I would NEVER gave it goty rank for the abovementioned reasons. I got 100% achievements in Wukong, beat Erlang on my first run without Wukong armor, it is a GOTY. You know what else is as good if not better - Silent Hill 2 Remake. Stalker 2 is up there too, all very deep games representing full-fledged genres...
