Actually those numbers are false, the average peak players are 7-10k, and right now at the time im writing this it is 6k, so you are just spreading pessimist misinformation for views, if you truly loved halo you wouldnt do this, and no halo infinite doesnt has less players than mcc because it is worse, in fact on xbox halo infinite is way more popular than mcc, infinite got those low numbers because of how hard 343 dropped the ball. Most modern gamers dislike and call boring the classic halo gameplay, so if you want to kill halo, make a game with the same gameplay as the original trilogy

The multiplayer will likely pull in a lot of the normies who dont play 40k the campaign mode will determin if the 40k fans shun it or not as we are all waiting with baited breath to see if the game escapes the DEI drama and activists taking over GW.

I’ve been an avid player since CE. I’ll never forget when I saw the infinite redesign and commando and said this looks like a gears of war inject. The casuals said “we’re the new generation of halo players and you need to give up what you love, stop playing, and give it to us because we like the new stuff. Like what you like. But to tell someone who’s been here for decades to “give up” what you love and give it to the kids who think John halo from Fortnite is now in a F2P game they’ll play for the next month is crazy. But this is what we get when they try to appeal to “the broader audience” and screw the loyal longtime fans. Loyalty used to mean something. With these corporations they just see an IP to exploit.

I think we need a spinoff the same size as Reach or ODST. There are so many different stories in the lore to make a game about like Grey Team or fighting insurrectionists for examples. You could even make one about the Contact Harvest book and turn the same story into a game where you play as Sargeant Johnson.

You can turn those off in customs. I have a gamemode that's basically Quake 3 because of them.

This dude must live out West. How are you gonna hate on the French when you don't even know them? They are not limited to Quebec. French is pretty common from Manitoba on East. New Brunswick is particularly French. I grew up in a French town in Ontario. Also the noise is not "hein" it is "wain", but pronounced like a ducks quack. Please get informed so you can hate on the French more effectively. Edit: I have been informed that Quebec french do actually use the gross sounding "hein" sound.

Manatoba is actually the olny provance with both english and french being thier official language. Quebec is olny french.

FYI I hate to break it to you man you look 5-10 years older than me yet somehow you allowed a wishy-washy GameStop article to understand the success or I guess in your mind lack their of from Atari. Well believe it or not that thing is a one of a kind, that never ever hit store shelves it barely got along in production before they stopped it. Obviously this is a hideous piece of hardware you’re right, but you are dead wrong about the brand NOT EVEN FOR ANY OF THE LEGITIMATE REASONS LMAO rather it’s due to one of their prototype systems somehow being your introduction to the company. I hope that you take this as a lesson, don’t judge a book by its cover: Atari revolutionized the concept of video games both in the arcade and at home, unfortunately they made a lot of poor decisions following their first major system including dumping copies of ET in a Nevada desert (see what I mean, there’s lots to pick apart about the brand… but to critique something that never made it to production, then use that very same item which failed to launch as your general idea of the brand as a whole is completely unfair and makes me not want to watch). That said we all have to learn somewhere, I hope that you learn today not to disrespect brands/people/places that you don’t know anything about because chances are you’re going to look completely uninformed on a subject that 90% of people into that field are aware of such as trying to laugh at Atari. There are kids who know what the main Atari looks like, and kids who still enjoy them (in short playtimes that is). Have a good one, I hope that I see a short again soon where you don’t say something out of pocket.
