Ringo is the most truthful Beatle and he is definitely the funniest one although Paul comes in a close second in those two categories.
Ringo's impeccable wit and droll humor are priceless!
His explanation of the beauty salon remark and its immortal power in haunting him had me in stitches!

I remember waiting for my car outside le Dome Restaurant in West Hollywood, and Paul and a few friends come wandering out to wait for the valet to fetch their ride. There's a busker outside with his dog, playing "Yesterday" - he has no idea McCartney is on his way out - so Paul walks out and goes straight to this guy and starts singing along with him. The busker - to his credit - doesn't stop playing, but his eyes become moon size and he doesn't miss a chord. The song ends, the moment is over far too quickly for all of us not named McCartney, and a memory for life is created : ))

Where's Part 2?!!!!!!!! I must say, this was a good TV interview with Ringo, especially the second half of the video above. Although Joe can take forever and a day to ask a question, at least it leads to something that gets a good answer. All the stuff about "Grown Old With Me" is great, and Joe brilliantly uses that to segueway into the "Ringo" album. You can see Ringo is genuinely happy to discuss "Six O'Clock" and "You're Sixteen", undoubtedly because he doesn't get asked about it ten thousand times a day! Joe is obviously a fan and knows his Beatle history. Other than telling the "I thought it was you three!" story again (which even Ringo says is the story "everybody already knows"), this is one of the better short-segment TV interviews I've seen with Sir Richard! WHICH IS WHY IT'S A CRIME PART TWO ISN'T UP!!!! Say it ain't so, Joe!!! :P

It’s crazy how your looking at this one man who was the drummer of the Beatles and lived to still recall those days, he’s still carrying all these memories with him, like you literally just know that whatever he’s doing he could be picturing in his head funny john lennon moments during the Beatles, studio moments with The Beatles, times he hung out with them, like I know Ringo Starr probably still remembers during a Beatles concert Paul said “just sort of clap your hands” and John said sarcastically “clap your hands”

Here's some trivia. I live in Mossley Hill; about 0.5 miles from Penny Lane and ~2 miles Paul McCartney's house on Forthlin Road in one direction and ~2 miles from where George was born. Also visited John Lennon's place at Mendips which is about 2.5 miles from my apartment.
When I went looking for Madryn Street; where Ringo was born, I got lost (even though I'm from Liverpool) and literally everyone I met had absolutely nothing good to say about Ringo. I mean; the locals absolutely despise him.
I think a lot of if stemmed from this interview when Jonathan Ross asked him if he missed anything about Liverpool and he basically smirked and said "no". (th-cam.com/video/o1LmTFOL6n0/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_title).
