A small tip I’ve found useful as a reseller myself. Get yourself a small whiteboard, measure up your item and write those measurements down on the whiteboard, picture the whiteboard and add that photo to your listing. Wipe clean and repeat. Saves a lot of time fiddling around with typing measurements on the item descriptions. Hope that helps!
@ out of interest what difference does it make? If the measurements are there, they’re there. Real people with busy lives are behind these small businesses, so if they can save some valuable time, why not.
I just loved this, sort of didn't want it to end. You truly are a great guy , with a sweet family. Loved the songs over the top, great fun. When did the dogs get their walk 🤔. Can't wait for the next one ❤
Another great video. Thank you. If you have the time in one of your videos, please could you explain how you do your storage/recording system so that you know which box things are in? Thanks.
Brilliant video, warmest thank you for sharing! I'm a new subscriber from Sydney Australia. It's these more ditl with a bit of everything that made me sub, I just find these so interesting and valuable so thanks again! I think you and Amy do an incredible job of balancing everything and you are both an inspiration!

Loved it , just finished the video , the family dynamics, the decorating , the realness . Thank you for sharing . I love Amy’s knit jumper when she was cooking . 👍👍👍
Currently watching this on my TV as I have my dinner, I don’t miss a video , My best genuine and transparent UK reseller . Really inspired I have my eBay and Vinted going at the moment , documenting for my first reselling video ( brown gal reselling here ) the vlogs are amazing . Keep it up George , we watching and learning
Great numbers on the last vlog. How much attention do you pay to the numbers? Do you just take the positives (obviously strengths can be found in weakness), or beat yourself up when a video isnt as strong as a previous one? Sorry for the deep question haha
Hi there. I've noticed you add postage to all your orders. What is your recommendation (same sales with or without the free postage)? Ebay of course recommends offering free postage for the customers, promoting your listings etc. and they promise to promote you in exchange. However, I am not seeing any sales increase, in fact, the opposite. And I end up paying thousands per month ad fees + postage! I would appreciate a comparison from another professional seller. Thank you
inpost is weird - did a return got a number that opened door someone else’s stuff was in it - could’ve taken it - happened 3x every door that opened had someone’s parcels in it
I’ve had that, also had it where the drivers add their own labels on for some reason but put them on the wrong parcels, happened to me twice so I stopped using them 👎
Hi George thanks for the video. You mentioned scheduling some listings. Saw a recent vid from aussie flipper who mentioned that scheduled listings get date stamped on the day you set schedule rather than the day of listing, Maybe just on Aus platform but maybe you can check this weekend. He changed his workflow to draft and spend a few minutes pushing live on Sat / Sun as required. Let us know what happens.
hey george, nice video! About Vinted tips... regular uploading of items (daily). You know vinted bro... has to be a bit cheaper than Ebay! You know because you buy alot on vinted (for cheap..) for resell... I sell more than only clothes, that helps, toys board games, dvd's, etc. and here in the Netherlands we can also sell almost all kinds of electronics now... which is awesome! Also send a lot of offers out to everybody who Favourites your items. Sometimes I even Stalk a bit. For example my Asking price is 30, is send offer of 24 and day later I send offer of 20. Agressive selling method. Also I sometimes tell them they get a free Surprise item as gift with a purchase. Also now around Christmas time, put lots of christmas sweaters, tree hangers, etc. on vinted. Even if price is low. When they sell, and buyers are happy, it gets more traction to your shop and more feedback! Cheers, jorit
Hi George where do you find the clear cellophane bags for shoes etc? I can only find colored or grey but would like to see what they are before packaging 😂
I used to do same day dispatch and then moved to 1 day - there was no difference to my sales. Also, moved from next day delivery back to 2-3 day tracked - no difference in sales again. I list 10 a day and sell 10 a day.
hahaha cheese tax lol.... my kitty was trained to hear the grater, even if he was out the back garden, he would appear for his pinch of grated cheese!! he loved it!!
I love how the last bit of cheese tax dropped on the dog, i believe in America, a chili cheese dog is a thing. I don't recommend pouring chili in the dogs though.
Surely its worth reusing those bags the jackets came in? I was a little disappointed ro see how you opened as i can only imagine thats all going into landfill I reuse 8/10 of the boxes/bags i receive in to recycle when ive sold something (often the exact same item for packaging)
I have come across your channel a little while ago. I know you have probably mentioned this in many videos but can you advise when you got into reselling, transitioned from private seller to business seller? I'm based in Wales.
Hi George, I noticed in your vid at the salvation army, you picked up a pair of Levis premium. Sorry to tell you they are Fake. There are vids on you tube showing what to look out for.
A DSLR and a flash will massively speed up your workflow and image quality especially in your building as there isn't much light in there. Grab any dslr with an ok zoom lens for convenience (i'd say a nikon d3200 and and a 18-70 f3.5 / 4.5 lens) plus a generic speedlight (all that would be sub £150 if bought used). Put the camera on a tripod, camera in manual mode. Set the lens to f8 and iso to between 100-400, shutter speed anywhere from 1/10th second to 1/200th of a second. Then attach the speedlight to the hotshoe of the camera and point it directly up. Put the flash into manual mode and take a photo. Keep taking photos and every time increase increasing the flash power. Eventually you will get perfect exposure. Write all these setting down and you can set it up that way every time and you'll have perfect pictures.
I like your videos but I have to say, any youtuber asking me to pay to join their channel puts me right off. I've set it to block those channels already, thought I'd let you know. I pay premium, I wouldn't want to see more youtubers trying to get even more money from me for members videos. It'll put more genuine watchers off the more people capitalise on that.
Why call yourself «housewife» (wrong vibe?) when the job title «homedad» is one to be extremely happy for and proud of? Anyways, contrats on the watch hours and views!
Lol, harmful to "real" artists? The music industry has been sewn-up for years. The only Artists that make it are talentless hacks chosen by the industry to front their manufactured licenced drivel. Personally I hope A.I. disrupts their monopoly to the point they all walk away and let real talent get discovered again. eBay Pop Rock has been ignored by the masses for too long, George is a pioneer of the Genre and I'm glad he's giving it the platform it deserves. I think he's in the running for Christmas #1.

As a buyer, I would prefer the measurements in the description not in a photo.

hi George, where did you get you blue bag with the zipper from?
Good addition of the songs !!
What label printer do you use mate? And probs a stupid question but on the A4 PDF you get sent, how do you print just the label area and not the page
with the jumpers that you buy, do you every worry about bubbles on jumpers
Hi George, How do you print your own labels on vinted? Thanks.

Very nice set up
Why do you never tell your viewers what the ebay promoted listing ad rate is for each item that you sell for transparency 😉?
I love your tunes when’s the singing career coming 😅
George heard music 1st time really cool x
I would like to do these but do u have time for ? if not then no no
Hi George how do I get to see what you have for sale? I'm a new subscriber
Does anyone else have issues when uploading to eBay and Vinted? I constantly get warnings and listings deleted for apparently not using my own photos.
Did miss

Good idea hanging the clothes on your belt loop so you can hold the camera whilst rifling through the rails in the charity shops.
