Love the “What’s sold” videos. It’s ok picking stuff up at car boots etc, but it’s nice to see what it eventually sells for. You can’t knock £500 in a day! Nice one George 👍
been selling on and off on eBay for 24 years have not sold really in a few years and starting back small with easy stuff to post like retro mags and book along with new and sealed DVD's, the joys of starting up a new account. Enjoyed the info and content cheers.
Glad you are getting back onto the Ebay and you tube side of things and it's working well for you. Also glad to hear life is good too, Keep up the good work and video's...😀👍...we enjoy them
You can still use the large boxes you just need to put dividers in to make the one big box into smaller boxes maybe get some plywood and make some dividers. Hope this helps.
Hi George, I think it's fantastic that you are full time! My question is, when the boot sales stop over the winter, where do you get all your stock from? Cheers fella
Nice! I like the way that all of the shoes and clothes are wrapped. Maybe you already have a video showing this, but what do you use/where do you get the transparent wrapping film? Thanks
George I’ve been watching you for years, love a car bootie!! I love the coffee table you have on your shelf, is there any way I could buy this from you?
Awesome video mate! Epic sales, clothing may be boring, but it can be a healthy bread and butter you just gotta be selective 👌 When you list each day, do you try to do a mix to hit each category that you sell in? So feed a bit of clothing, some games, some electronics etc? Or would you do all clothing 1 day, all electronics another day and so on? 🤔🙂
@@RetroReselling Haha I totally feel that too 😅 in an ideal world maybe hit a bit of everything but in reality just go with the flow. I love small, easy to photo items. But I’ve just finished drafting all my large things, as I had the willpower to tackle it. Back to easy listing after this 🥳
I’m just starting out as reseller. How long did it take for you to start to see regular sales on EBay? Feel I make sales quicker on Vinted but take a hit on Margin.
I don't understand how people buy from new then just simply give stuff away so freely!! If I spent that much on something then I'm knowing every single thing about it!
@@RetroReselling Agreed. Some people are so naive it’s frightening. Balanced out by those who take the p*ss normally. You’ve done well, I find boot sales are getting harder as people are a lot better researched and know value of stuff.
Great profits George!! Vintage George is back! But /i still do not understand why you are not giving selling on Vinted another go?! With another account? I have 2 accounts... in case one gets blocked.. Vinted is much more dynamic than ebay, more connections with your audience, no fees, etc. For me Ebay is a really tough nut to crack from the Netherlands, been selling there for years, but the fees my god, they are ridiculous for a Dutch seller... selling something for 40$ around 20 is left for me in the end... no joke. Vinted is great for me!! I love it. Do not love the really terrible Customer chatbot etc service though... but yeah, you can not have everything! Have fun selling!

More to come! 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi george, loved that coffee table when you brought it at carboot,
Yes you need to the stuff, clean it and list it so that it goes out of the door asap. Good stuff.
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice sales George! Why not use the big boxes to stash the unlisted stuff so you at least get some use out of them once you get the smaller ones

Thanks! Yeah I can definitely do an updated video on the stuff I use within the business 👍🏻
@@RetroReselling that would be awesome - may see you at the next boot (if it’s not rained off!!)

to make £500 a day is a good amount of money!
Wish it was every day! 💪🏻

Nice! Haha 😂
Great video, loving the content at the moment 😊
Great to see picking videos again George !
Thats a good pay day. What do you do with stuff that is not selling . Thanks
That poor woman letting those boots go for £18. £175?? 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ I’d be devastated.
