Hi George, as a private seller ive listed all my items on both. Ebay trickles with sales and is consistent, Vinted is a litte strange , it tends to have a big impact when ypur listing is new, then goes completely dead. So i deleted all the vinted items and relisted, bang loads more sales for things that hadnt had views for months. Ive done this a few times with the same results . It must be the vinted algorithm.
Hi, I like the fact all your items are wrapped in bags, where do you get the bags from, can you drop a link or let me know and do you put your box number somewhere in your listing so you know what box it's in when it sells
Subscribed! Nice to see an honest channel! Can you please let us all know if you use ebay GSP and how to get it to lower the prices of postage as sometimes it can be a huge price for the customer.
Be interesting to see how you get on with wardrobe highlight.....when i was selling loads of my old clothes i had no interest with or without the wardrobe highlight.....but when i did singular item highlight/prompted they sell nearly every time!
Hello 👋 I’m asking probably what is a stupid question but I’ve asked Vinted and getting no where! When I’m selling items on Vinted Pro I print out the label and the return label that goes in the parcel, great all done packed and send. However, Vinted say I have to send the customer an invoice which I presume is sent to the buyers email address if I don’t have that then to their address! Can anyone an actually answer the silly question! Do I invoice the customer for the cost the item sold for, or the cost plus the postage? Just that the customer pays for the postage correct? So why would I add the postage cost to the invoice? Everything is logical apart from this invoice business! For example on an invoice you ask for payment by a certain date usually but how can I add that information when you don’t get paid for almost three weeks or they decide to return an item! Any help would be very much appreciated. Happy selling
HI Just invoice what they paid you for as it is for your benefit and accounts as you would be paying more tax for p & p and other fees once you collate all your invoices. Thats what I did.
Hi mate, another vinted pro seller here. I was chatting to some other sellers and we think the random pennies are for the cost of bag/printing return labels etc - not actually sure tho. I was also wondering how you're sorting your invoices? Been a bit of a pain for me
Hi Jamie I’ve asked a similar question to Vinted and I’m confused with the invoices! Wonder if you could help, when you do invoices do you put the cost of the sale or add the whole price including postage but the customer pays the postage! I’m confused. Also on an invoice you usually ask for payment by a certain date but we don’t know when we will be paid for me it’s around three weeks and then if they return item !!? It’s all a bit confusing this invoice part! I did send an item without an invoice and had no issues so it’s all a bit slap dash , do you agree?
Look out for Paddington bear with clothes, as they have made a 3ft statue of him sitting on a bench going to in different towns and cities, as they are bringing out a new film. Wallace and gromit things as they are bringing out a new film
hi great content - please can you keep the shots of the products up much longer on screen maybe show more angles since looking at a bag isn’t so interesting as can’t see it well - and the focus is the products in this video cheers
Does anyone know the best place and how to sell Lego.Ive got 15 boxes of brand new.The big boxes I looked and they are going for £150,375 and £50.I haven’t checked the smaller boxes.I do however have a huge sack of mixed Lego.Would it be best to put all the loose in individual colour bags?I have already sold the Lego table to a friend but I still have huge base boards which I had made.I just have so much Lego I don’t know where to start.I have every box of Mario Lego they made but I am keeping all that. Can anyone help please? Love your videos.
Hiya Retro, I am a Level 3 - Media Production student looking to expand reach for my portfolio and I was wondering if you were looking for an editor for your videos. I am able to do things such as colour correction, remove copyright sounds and am very knowledgeable with Premiere Pro and have been using it for years. I can also make very good TH-cam shorts to expand your audience.
Be careful when listing on eBay. I've noticed the promoted add rate jumps back to the suggested rate on occasion after you put your own. Seems to be more of a problem with items over £39.99 for some reason.
Hello guys! I applied as an ebay business for seasonal zero fees on cholates, but ebay still charging me fully with final value fees and transaction fees. Anyone experienced the same? I'm selling preloved shoes, and cholates...
Looked at Vinted as a business seller, after the NI debacle, not impressed. Prices aren’t worth it. Steering clear. But I don’t sell clothes, searching for anything else is too much hard work.
Vinted will fall on its arse soon either by a lawsuit or people realising its got poor support and no real rules in place. Mark my word's. And yes im aware its only my opinion but lets see
As a buyer on Vinted I've noticed they contradict trading standards by saying the buyer has to pay return postage if the item is incomplete or faulty. There's a few posts online about it but you have to kick off with Vinted for them to sort this out.
I agree with you - the customer support is utterly shocking. They take days to reply and when it is they haven’t read your message and you can tell it’s scripted messages. I asked for an email to raise it further and they quit the chat
Just a question on why you are allowed to sell on vinted pro with no policy’s in place. You are just as liable as vinted. I have just been reading there agreement. I would be very carful selling with zero policy’s in place or terms and conditions. No one is talking about this? You and vinted are joint controllers of information. As a sole trader I personally wouldn’t touch it.
This concerns me too, mainly the lack of a privacy policy. I am not qualified to write one up so for now no policy is better than a flawed one. When you think about it, eBay don’t require seller policies either that are outside the policies in a listing but the way Vinted have laid it out doesn’t sit well.. Vinted are asking me to send invoices to buyers but as far as I can tell if I’m not VAT registered selling to another VAT registered business I don’t have to do it. I’m regretting signing up, it’s a shambles.

You should call your shed "The Shizzle Shed"! 😂😂
How are you doing cross listing? Thanks

What size clear bags do you use to store your hoodies and jackets?
So, is Vinted Pro live again now, and are people now signing up no problem with a UTR??

Hi George, are you cross listing? With An app or doing it manually?
Did they accept your documents after?

Vinted is hit and miss for me. As a buyer, I've had great bargains. As a seller, I hate it.
Possible, but more likely a buyout or takeover.

I don’t like the new layout take it back to normal
Can’t stand vinted, make their own rules and buyers want genuine items for penny prices, not worth time and effort.
Vinted won’t last against eBay
