Nice sales there! My best so far was yesterday morning bought a schoffel gilet from the charity shop for £7.50 and sold same day for £110

I'm really new to this but best snipe two pairs of Desmond & Dempsey PJs - £18 inclusive - washed them - sold for £60 and £50! - Luxury Pickers featured them on a TKMAXX what to look out for video - PJs that cost > £120 in Harrods & Selfridges 😱 who'd have thought it 😂

Im near guildford and got 0 snow, even in farnborough it only sleeted for a few mins. So close yet so far.
Best recent find for me was bowling pins 😂
At my local bowling alley they was selling old bowling pins for £1 each I got 10 sold all 10 for £100 then the buyer message saying he wants another 10 sold I when back got 10 more and boom he paid again 😂 now he wants another 30 😮

Grove Encyclopedia Of Music, all 9 books and fifth edition so from the 1950s. Found in an Oxfam everything must go sale, 50p for 3 books so only £1.50 for the lot! Not selling though as I've become emotionally attached 😂 loving the vids mate keep them coming ☺️

Had this with a burberry scarf once
I had a pair advertised as no box. I did actually have the box but it was in rubbish condition. Messaged the buyer asking if he wanted the box or no box, he said box. Ebay then failed them for authentication on account of the box being damaged (listing said no box though!), ended up getting them back and then reselling to the same buyer. Basically changed the heading to "NIKE SHOES BOX IS BATTERED TO WITHIN AN INCH OF ITS LIFE" so the authenticator could see lol and it passed 2nd time

When I was around 15 I bought a little handbag from a lady at a car boot for 50p/£1 maybe and there was a £20 note in the pocket! Profit baby 😂

We recently found a playmobil set no 3500 massive victorian house from aprox 1989 still totally sealed inside... used sets going for 250 plus no idea whatvthis could be worth also set 5320 never opened

That’s insane! Anything sealed from those years is going to hold good money, especially playmobil. Aim high and hold out for the right buyer. 🙌🏼🔥

I love GSP, my best sales 2 sales over £200 was GSP. Apart from one of them getting lost 😂
Also had a mishap and sent the wrong item through GSP the other day. £60 lost 😭
We’ve all been there, I sent the wrong HiFi component once, ended up losing around £120… 😐

I won’t use eBay in Japan we use yahoo auctions . They are known as to be a nightmare to deal with. Mecari is really good as well

The thing is you have to have a really good eye to spot some of the fakes these days as there getting so much better in quality. I personally haven’t necessarily got the eye for clothing yet…
Yeah from personal experience, it’s even harder to spot fakes with clothing, hence why I do shoes only 😅

Ebay "fake" policy is BOLLOCKS. I had a brand new game which I bought from Waterstones and they refused them. They asked for the receipt (I bought it at least 5 years ago) and they STILL said the game was fake. Utter bullshit.
Why is Royal Mail from vinted a scam ? I’ve just started reselling on eBay and use Royal Mail, should I be using something else ?
It’s not always a scam. Just when the item seems to good to be true, and the only option is RM, they dispatch instantly after buying and don’t need proof of being scanned like Evri/yodel/InPost etc. So more likely to get scammed.
You’re fine to use them of course.
they can tell you why they failed inspection, it's happened to me. Got the reasoning and because they were incorrect, I was issued £50 compensation.

Yeah definitely. I do find the Irish call centre to be much more human and relatable than the others. So always good when you hear them on the other side 😅

They can tell you the reason why they failed inspection in terms of doesn’t match photos or description but they can’t tell you the reason why they believe they’re not authentic, I sell through eBay authentication daily

A few days ago I found a bag that was almost the same design as my dream bag, but the price blew my mind. I have a soul resonance with kislux . It taught me that beauty doesnât have to be expensive, it just has to be right.
That’s actually not true about them automatically declaring it counterfeit it the condition doesn’t match the listing etc, if the condition isn’t as described you’ll be told that’s the reason and you won’t get a counterfeit strike at all, whoever was checking them must of thought they were counterfeit because of how the size tag looks because of how old they are

Yeah the riffs were faked quite a lot, I remember early 2000s abroad they would be at all the shops/stalls in Spain when I went there multiple times.

They can tell you. I just had some sent back and they were genuine they told me the box was damaged so they failed them. They’ve been damage in delivery so they checked there cctv and it was in my favour and sent trainers back and gave me £50
They can tell you when they don’t pass for the condition, but they can’t tell you the reason why they believe they’re counterfeit

I had shoes fail before because they smelt of smoke. Brand new shoes too. I never noticed, they did tho when I smelt them when they got back.

Currently in the death pile, maybe they’ll end up at the boot sale. eBay don’t like you to relist once they’ve returned for the ‘counterfeit’ reason.
Re the battery, can you not arrange for him to buy outside if eBay now and send direct?
Unfortunately not, eBay will have you for outside of eBay dealing. Had this before, they give you a warning and then account can be at risk.
Could you not have messaged the seller and offered him the item again at a reduced rate but outside of gsp maybe just Royal Mail international post? Would be that extra mile for them 🎉

I don’t get why you got to keep the money unless the batteries have even scrapped.
Because it’s no fault of mine. So eBay let me keep the funds and refund the buyer out their pocket. They were the ones that allowed the sale to go though.
