Right Seat Flight to KCPS from KPWK in a Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet

- With N973SD still in her annual inspection, I've not been able to produce new content. However, I found a relatively recent video of flying right seat in a Cirrus Vision Jet. The owner, Gary, offered to take me on a quick roundtrip to St. Louis Downtown airport. I grabbed my camera wanting to record the startup procedure, which has been requested by multiple viewers.
What a great airplane. I reviewed the Vision Jet previously ( • Flying The Cirrus Visi... ), and it was awesome to get back in the cockpit. I hope you enjoy the experience. I know I did!!!

The cirrus vision gen 2 is one of my favorite aircraft EVER! absolutely beautiful and the tech is amazing. This plane in its new upgraded model which I’m sure this is has the safe return mode which will literally fly the airplane from mid flight at 31000 feet to the nearest airport touchdown and come to a complete stop with one push of a button. Amazing!

It looks like you may have a GDL50 on you dash. You use this for what?

Emailed the owner. Yes, it is a GDL 50. He uses it as a backup (2nd source) of weather and traffic.
