@@Mokujo I'm fairly happy with the story, however Venom Snake had the potential to be the best MGS character ever. The idea of him, and where he fits in is actually a REALLY good idea... But the execution felt a bit rushed, and there could of been more for sure.

Phantom Pain is about the ultimate turning of tables. In Outer Heaven, it's drilled into you that your comrades are your family and that you should never attack them. That is, until Snake ends up needing to sacrifice his own troops. Your journey started with you escaping assassins and killers in a hospital, and now you're given the task of butchering people in a quarantine ward. The same badass allies you recruited in act 1 are either exiled for treason or escorted to the gates of hell in act 2. And despite Big Boss' attempts to be better and more righteous than Cypher or the government, he falls from grace, employing human beings (you) as his own tools of war, just like the US and the Boss, like Zero and Snake's clones. The Phantom Pain shows us how not only can warfare change, it changes you too.
I always wondered how Eli would have treated big boss if he knew he actually had his good genes and knew Big boss never really had anything against him

Well Naked is only Big Boss because of Operation Snake Eater and it might very well be that Venom has played a simulation of that. After all you get a Time Paradox in MGS3 and Ground Zeroes when you die but not in Phantom Pain. Also does anyone else think its weird that Big Boss hates himself being cloned but is ok to turn another person into a perfect replica?
Big Boss was cloned without his consent by his rival Zero so the brothers were like a leverage against him and his replacement when his time came. As for Venom, he hesitantly agreed to turn his best loyal soldier artifically into himself as a decoy until he made his move since the whole world wanted him dead. for a guy whose just a medic venom snake has some pretty solid skills. he owned him like a boss :)
he was the best soldier they had in peace walker bb said it him self. so the cqc of venom is brilliant. but the original is obv still the best xD
+Taseen Mannan Best thing about the medic is he can name each bone you have as he breaks them then sets them back together.
+Pingas Pearce I guess so xD. but in the 1st mission he seemed like a wimp xD. also making basic mistakes like being too "open" where he almost got caught by heli. I was thinking. wait... why is this random Ishmael guy helping me through this xD I'M BIG BOSS!
Well The medic is a Replica of John so they have the same training, They can do the same
@@tiago7720 he had just wiken up from a 9 year coma.he lived after that is already pretty good
Huh. The game actually acknowledges the flaw of having a knife at the back of your hip.
''Big Boss''
He is.
Mcgeezaks Venom Snake*
Snake you've interfered with the future! You've created a time paradox!
Why does Venom say "welcome to outer heaven"
LopeyKneeGrow Because Mother Base is Outer Heaven.
Yeah but this is before the idea of Outer Heaven was realized
LopeyKneeGrow They had already realised it by then if he is saying it.
LopeyKneeGrow Seem strange to me too. I thought he went to build outer heaven in africa? Because thats where Solid snake gets deployed. I think it was already an idea though but was to early to actually be offical.
Pingas Pearce No, that wasn't Outer Heaven. That was Zanzibar Land. Outer Heaven is Diamond Dogs.
Break kids arm
Start smoking
Big boss grindset
The kid doesn't sound British enough to be Liquid.
He is still going through puberty 😄
+Sam Geuvenen He was in Africa for awhile so he picked up African Accent.
+Alan Lieu I too had my accent changed to British during puberty
Didn't know he can go though puperty cause he got his ass handed one on one
He doesn’t really sound much anyway.. like his phantom daddy
Whoever said kratos was a tough and absentee father did not meet big boss!
Haha look at this fool trying to CQC the boss
Venom: Welcome to Outer Heaven.
Liquid: *and i took that personally...*
Starts at 0:59 thank me later
liquid snake was always crazy I'm a little surprised in shadow moses he seemed alot smarter and even tempered
+wisam111 I suppose he matured as an adult (but still evil).
Rohin P guess so lol
Well still not as surprising as Ocelots sudden change in personality in MGS5, He has never ever been like this in any other game
