Great to see Pinellas County finally taking action against these so-called investigators. But I hope the public realizes that they had no choice but to take action. This is the kind of thing that would have never even been discussed or brought out if it wasn't already made public.. basically Pinellas County was embarrassed enough to have to do their job. Any other time this would have been handled behind closed doors. Payoffs and back scratching go on all the time especially in Florida. One should note to always ask for proof of license involving the contractor and the actual construction worker even the contractor company and make sure that you are seeing the license of the person actually doing the work. Make certain that license is not coming from just someone that happens to work in the same company. Also although it's an added expense always make sure that everything is permitted through the county or city. Otherwise it can come back to haunt the consumer. And even though you may think you got away with unlicensed or non permitted work can haunt you when you go to sell the house or have other work done or have the house insured. Even if you have to take out a loan on the house or have a second mortgage unpermitted work can definitely prove to be a major problem. If a contractor gives you a hard time about a permit or license then you the consumer definitely needs to find a different contractor that is licensed and does pull the proper permits. And you as the consumer have the right to see all of that information in writing and should have copies of it as well. It is also a good idea to have those copies and Originals notarized. To make sure that they are not giving you fraudulent information or paperwork. Something as simple as not having a proper GFI plug in a kitchen or bathroom. Well presented Sir. It's great to know that regardless of Rank or File. Nothing held back. Wagner had her fingers burnt when she had been caught with her hands in the till. Unfortunately, the licensing and permitting scheme is no guarantee of good work. The best credentials are from the people who have experienced the service from the particular tradesman. All this paper is nothing more than to devise a way to get someone else to pay to work.

You know..the same constitution you and I hold dear? How is she going to get a fair trial now?
I was put in the position of hiring all contractors for my HOA, immediately I was offered a kickback of a couple grand from a contractor in exchange for giving them the contract. I'm ashamed that I actually considered it, albeit for about 15 minutes, but I still considered it before telling them I could not do that...& I did not. They were removed from the list of potential contractors. My conscience means more to me than a couple of bucks & being dishonest.
I don't disagree with the arrest or charges being laid if misconduct is found to have happened. For the Sheriff going so far into details, even delving into what someone is believed to have thought then it can compromise a jury prior to selection because they heard through the media what is supposed to have happened even what people have thought and made a resulting action from. The Sheriff should only speak of what is basically being alleged and the charges laid as a result. Not present as though he is talking to a jury already. I have presented cases as a Prosecutor and a Defense Counsel. The in-depth stuff should be left for the courtroom.
The bad thing is that this has been going on under your nose for years. The only way you found out is the contractor refused to be black mailed and talked out about it.
Their is also people that don’t have the thousands of dollars is talks to get licensed and do better work of the customer than some licensed contractors. Hire who you know.

Old PCCLB...New PPLB..thay're all a bunch of punks gaming the system since the 70's for their own benefit. I personally would not trust the judgement of any new PCCLB alleged official. Nothings changed.
Just another crooked bureaucrat!
Gvts make lots of them.
I would love to work with this department, this is exactly the type of professionals and professional level that is needed!!
I totally agree Lacie, and let us together start our own Sheriff's department and employ our own government officials. Why we can start citing people on day one and refurbish our own landlord owned dwellings at *HALF THE COST* Did I mention that training itself consists of nothing more than a paid week of playing Monopoly with some overzealous "Wives of Pinellas County" ?? To begin, I'd like to start you off as the: *VICE PRESIDENT of a BUNCH OF STUFF* which may not on the surface seem like it is a distinguished title, but I assure you, its the resume builder that *EVERYONE* is looking for! Why just last week I was about to hire a handyman, but he failed to include *A bunch of stuff* on his business card and that summarily lost him a weeks pay with some angry ladies playing monopoly!
Didi she get arrested because everyone is so honest there or because she got caught and her bosses did not want any part of it and kind of threw her under the bus....or she did not pay( or not enough) to her bosses ?
As a casual observer of american politics from afar ive noticed Pinellas county is a frequent flyer in corruption allegations
you are 👉
Cops complaining about corruption?
Technically there are at least 3 people who are morally bankrupt, they should not have been involved in using unlicensed contractors or agreeing to any of the mess and then they wouldn’t have been in the situation to begin with. Just wow, it never ceases to amaze me how people can do shady things like this.
Well presented Sir.
It's great to know that regardless of Rank or File. Nothing held back.
Wagner had her fingers burnt when she had been caught with her hands in the till.
She's managed to bring so many others into her scam.
I really hope that now her License revoked., she has many years in her Prison Cell to own the damage she has done.
Many folk will have been scammed one way or another.
Recently I've seen and heard many Police Officers, including Sheriffs who should never had a badge.
So yet again Sherri, well done for making this case transparent. I hope your Officer make there work in a way that their Boss. 🏴 Betty from Scotland 🏴
Come on up to Santa Rosa County next, we need to clean out the corruption in the code office too!
Unfortunately, the licensing and permitting scheme is no guarantee of good work. The best credentials are from the people who have experienced the service from the particular tradesman. All this paper is nothing more than to devise a way to get someone else to pay to work.
Well said said...you are 100% correct
Good Job 👍....jonjon...JJ..
Building falling !!😡
All statute of limitations must be removed for stealing. Fruad, bunions I git a air-conditioning unit that should never passed code, ot was put in upside down to rust out the coils and burners and the coil in accessible to clean
De-Brak-Ins ?
It's a joke, right ?
The retaliation by Wagner against the complaintant is serious stuff, will get her the most jail time. I think the judge will come down hard on that one.
so she will be out in like a week right? da gives her probation...
Sounds Stark Laws under CMS Medicare -Sounds like a similar situation.
Good job!
You know she learned this from someone.
Pinellas county sheriff department rocks !💙💙💙👩🔧🇺🇲
she isn't the only one that has done this. look around you.
That’s methed up.
Unfortunately he has added personal opinion to this announcement which is irresponsible. His statement should have ended after his 1st sentence unless he wants to to give the origins of the arrest. A person is innocent until found guilty in a court of law. He is literally trying her on social media. As horrible as her actions are, she deserves due process per her 14th amendment right. You know..the same constitution you and I hold dear? How is she going to get a fair trial now?
It turned into extortion buy a state investigator, I wonder if she ever got paid...
You wouldn't be human if you didn't consider it. The point is that you declined. Kudos.
Could you come over to Brevard County and investigate the whole county govt, please ? And the city govts ?
All them complaint that got ripped of from her should sue
I don't disagree with the arrest or charges being laid if misconduct is found to have happened.
For the Sheriff going so far into details, even delving into what someone is believed to have thought then it can compromise a jury prior to selection because they heard through the media what is supposed to have happened even what people have thought and made a resulting action from. The Sheriff should only speak of what is basically being alleged and the charges laid as a result. Not present as though he is talking to a jury already. I have presented cases as a Prosecutor and a Defense Counsel. The in-depth stuff should be left for the courtroom.
I feel like i just watched him do a very gopd Opening for tehe state .. kinda confusing i agrew
Great Job honesty is the best
The bad thing is that this has been going on under your nose for years. The only way you found out is the contractor refused to be black mailed and talked out about it.
I wish we had authorities like you all in Texas and Oklahoma! God bless y'all!
This is awful They probaby braged to some one Wish it was something that could b stopped Done by some one with know heart
Or brains
@@jamesmoses6092 right
Very well presented!.
Their is also people that don’t have the thousands of dollars is talks to get licensed and do better work of the customer than some licensed contractors. Hire who you know.
