Hi Kevin, I have a Tracker too! I added an adapter to the handle to make more use of the front heavy and to increase the swing power to prevent slipping. It is probably the no.1 knife in that knife selection.
I also use Vinegar to keep it from rusting with black rust😊.
I use a translator from Japan. Sorry if my English is weird.

Good video, the Trakker is the only “ survival “ design there the other 2 are knives you can use in “ survival “ situations, there’s a reason it’s in a class on its own. I’ve been a proud user of the TB Tracker and after you embrace all the attributes that knife has to offer the list to compare Tracker to other blades is shorter than you think. It’s too bad B.R. Refuse to add a saw back because this design excels in the 1 tool Grab N Go option. My Tracker also has an Arrow sizing wrench in the blade. The next time your out with your Trakker try using the quarter round potion of the blade and draw the blade up the wood for your feather sticks the Tracker design has a sweet spot and will out perform any knife making feather sticks in this manner.

I had a bk9 and was always sharpening it , maybe the heat treat was a bit off so I didn't really care for it . the tops Tom brown tracker I have I do love , I have reprofiled the edges to make it better . I do like this knife though .

Thanks for the thorough coverage - fixie reviews introduce a whole other layer of complexity to shoot on video...framing, sound, bugs 😀. Good job!

I wish Tops would extend that front end on their tracker, have used the TOPS version and managed fine with it otherwise.

TOPS has to evolve with the times instead of doing the usual 1095 & coated blades.. & yea i know TOPS offers couple diff. steels in some their models

Good review Kevin. A friend has the original T.B. Tracker by Tops. He loves it ,on our trips camping and hunting he has used it successfully. He carried scout style on his belt on his back.Has to be careful installing knife back in it's sheath.Which is Kydex. He has remarked to me many times he forgets it there.
I carry a old Dan Valos 9" survival
knife made out of 440c I have beat the crap out of it on canoe trips holds a good edge. Also I use
Cold Steel Bowie 10"or 11" forget which one. Both great knives when carrying either one never felt the need for a hatchet. What your use to I guess.Have fun out there.

Definitely an Awesome Blade , but $400 plus is alot of $$ , I would definitely go with the BK-9 , for the money it's hard to beat and still a Great Knife ....👍🖖

BK9 in this case is the best all around knife for me.

Interesting. I just received my BR Tracker and noticed that it’s within 1/4” and 1oz. of the Gransfor’s Wilderness Hatchet. The knife being the smaller, lighter blade. Someone has to beat me to a comparison video...Hint, Hint

I carried my Topps one for years and it worked great, also indestructible, did need a Caper too but even now that I have been carrying a 4-5 in. Knife with a hatchet I still like having a fine blade for detailed work.
The tracker works better for scraping than the hatchet though. Have been tempted to pick up one of the small trakkers to try out though.
