    I know there's a lotta' hate for the Trackers. But, whether one of my TOPS TBT-1s, or one of my Barky Trakkers, I ALWAYS have one in my truck bag. When the sun and temps start to dip, and I'm all alone on a Ranch in South Texas (*and start to hear every "scary" noise 20" away), I have never felt under-knived with one of 'em. With one of my Trackers (*Trakkers), and a few Vaseline-dipped cotton balls, I have wood, fire, and comfort within a few short minutes. Gread vid. Thanks.

    Damn dude. Great video! That's one hell of a tool, and it looks amazing. You scared me with the copper, but that A2 has clearly been handled properly to get some serious performance. I would have to agree, I think its the most impressive rendition of the tracker design so far. Awesome job

      I am distrustful of Berk River and DLT production control. Occasionally, knives were not built more than a year after the pre-order, and production orders are not on a first-come, first-served basis. It is completely unknown what they prioritize in production. It looks beautiful in terms of price, but the quality is not very good. If you care about the sharpness, re-sharpening is indispensable.

    I own the Bark River Trakker with black/orange G10 handle scales and it's a beast of a survival knife. I own also a Schanz WSK (Wilderness Survival Knife). Both knives are really good interpretations behind the design philosophy. The leather sheath of the Trakker is good but I will build a kydex sheath for the knife.
    The Bark River Hunters Axe is also really nice, the smal axe splits wood surprisingly well and it's a good chopper too. I have the Hunters Axe with orange G10 handle scales.
    One of the best chopping knives beside the TOPS El Chete I know, is the Bark River Ja-Nap, it's a chopping and splitting beast of a knife... and of course I own the Ja-Nap with orange G10 handle scales.

    The quote that fits the Tracker/Trakker the most would be. "A Jack of all trades, but a master of none." But still a great knife to own! Keep up the great work, brother!

    Interesting. I just received my BR Tracker and noticed that it’s within 1/4” and 1oz. of the Gransfor’s Wilderness Hatchet. The knife being the smaller, lighter blade. Someone has to beat me to a comparison video...Hint, Hint...

    I got nervous again with this one too when you were chopping that close to your hand. Trakker's aren't for me, but this one is sure a beauty. I'm a fan of white handles. When you get tired of your Tundra, let me know. :-)

      @@ariadanzig434 I've watched several of his vids. (*His channel is becoming one of my new faves) And, I can say, beyond the shadow of doubt, that he knows what he's doing. Like him, I use and play with quite a few blades, and am a bit embarrassed to admit that I can get a little sloppy with 'em, now and again. You know how it goes, you work with them, get a little comfortable as the minutes pass, and then have a fresh hole in your skin before you know it. It's happened to me more times than I'd like to admit, and I have a few scars to prove it. 😄

    Good review, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen this knife being offered before. Beautiful for sure, but must be heavy for long term carry...? I’m considering the William Collins WCSK, knife has nothing but positive reviews as a workhorse. Thanks for sharing!

    • @thecavemanknivesreview.8097
      @thecavemanknivesreview.8097  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I can't give a option on the WCSK but I been eyeballing it for a while. I have 2 WC and they are great. This one is in the heavy side, but it compensate it being a great chopper for its size.
