- Exiting from a Freestanding Handstand can be a scary and challenging skill to learn. Especially as an Adult! A common block is knowing how to safely exit and which technique to use. In this video I break down different methods of how to bail or fall safely, not only from the handstand but from the Shoulderstand is well. Which is essential when learning HSPU.
Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or would like to suggest any future videos.

I knew how to bail instinctively my first time, so I told my friend who wanted to learn "don't worry about falling, you'll land on your feet like a cat". Well, he kicked up and flopped down on his back hard. It knocked the wind out of him, but luckily he didn't get hurt.
Yes, teaching classes and privates for the last few years have taught me this. And you can never tell by looking at someone.
Thanks for making these, I look forward to your daily videos and they've been helping me get past sticking points. 🙏
Great to hear!
That is very very helpful, I will take it easy one day at a time and start incorporating the facing the fall handstand hold and try to bailout on the side just as you show here. Oh and once I head to the beach or grass I will go ballistic with reps there, thank you so very much and I will let you know how it goes 🙏
thank u i was upside down for ages
Super helpful, thanks!!
Thank You!
Awesome content, thankssss
Thank you!!! ❤
Thank you!
thank you for all of the tips! how does one get better at a cartwheel? I am 6' tall and sometimes gets very scary to do a cartwheel. Thank you! (I can do a handstand at the wall, kick to it and chest to wall, but have fallen off and that fear of falling again is keeping me from advancing.)
But my back hurts when I forward roll.Anything that I could be doing wrong?
If you have pain in any movements I’d recommend you see someone in person who can assess face to face
