"We need to take this to the Jarl immediately!" *Feeds on a corpse*
Thorsten Heinke fucking hypocrites. Complaining about the vampires, while eating human flesh...
"Vampires!!!" turns into a werewolf.
i quite like morthal to be honest, i think i should do a visit to get some job, i assume they have plenty.
@@krisania96 lambert lambert, what a prick!
@@pandapancakes37 Not bad.
People always say they hate Morthal, but I personally love it's aesthetic. And if you're worth two shits at all in alchemy you'll be spending a lot of time around the swamp and the shop in town.
ChewingToothpick damn right
Same! Hjaalmarch's design and ambient sounds are so soothing. By far my favourite hold.
Implying alchemy is a real skill
PC mods can make it even better tbh and living there isn't bad either you can always fix up the place and as a vampire you can always feed and not have to worry since no one suspects you lmao
I used to be an alchemist like you, til I took an alembic to the knee.
The famed vampire monster: Movarth.
Movarth: HERE WE GOOOOO!!!!!
NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME HERE!!!
its'a me, ah Movarth
Kinda anticlimactic really. To be fair to the writers though Bethesda is known for rushing things out the door sometimes. So maybe they just were not given enough time to make that quest cooler.
IT'S MORBIN' TIME
@@tidedetergentyummy It comes full circle, my gods.
It would be neat if you could join Movarth if you're a vampire already. You could help him takeover the town, turning Morthal into a safe haven for vampires.
Fbuh That would be nice, but logically speaking it wouldn't take long for people to find out that morthal is filled with vampires. That haven would be a war zone in days.
And logically speaking that would be an awesome quest. Fending off hoards of Vigilants while ruling a "bloody" swamp empire.
Allies with the Strongest vampires in Skyrim and fight the Dawnguard forming a new kingdom
AlexWantsBacon2 if the reach can be full of cannibalism and murderers, then a town of vampires and thralls could exist.
if your avampire already alva attacks you
Ravencrown is honestly my favorite Jarl, I just wish there were more to do in Morthal.
I wish there was a quest involving Wispmothers in the swamp and seeing that they were probably based off the real life legend of La Ilorona, maybe it abducted the little girl that lives with Falion and you help him get her back.
Honestly just knowing that there were wispmothers in the swamps grabbing children would creep the hell out of me and it would add to the atmosphere of Morthal.
@Madam Meouff the people say in Morthal that it's dangerous to go out into the swamps at night, so give me a reason not to got out there at night.
Like goddamn, the swamp in red dead redemption 2 creeps me the hell out and makes me avoid the place entirely.
Read Later it’s creeps me out but I don’t avoid it, love going paranormal hunting in RDR2 but I love the idea you have for morthal. Would love more paranormal in Skyrim too
Visiting Morthal gets me in a melancholy mood. Idk if anyone else feels the same.
@@readlater8962 maybe there is mods to make mortal more like mortal and has a question just like the one you talked about.
Has nobody else notice the fact that he contracted sanguine vampiris when fighting the master vampire?
dimapez Cannabalism skill I believe
LOL alcoholic, party vamp.
Ahhhh yes, and the cycle continues😌
"We have no choice but to defend ourselves," while relieving Hroggar's corpse of valuables.
Even funnier because FudgeMuppet pointed out another time that you literally *don't* have to kill Hroggar and he thanks you afterward if you don't!
Hroggar isn’t there if you pick the lock during daytime hours.
@@whitewolf3051 you can even do one better, and cast a calming spell so he won't attack you. He'll later thank you for saving him from Alva's influence.
@@cannellaorso4171 The day time solution is to avoid conflict completely and the only thing or resource used would lock picks.
@@whitewolf3051 🤷🏼♀️ whatever works best for you. I just posted an alternative because waiting didn't work for me last playthrough; he was still there.
I used to be an adventurer like you, but then a vampire ate my kneecap
Now he coaches the Detroit Lions.
Have you ever noticed that all vampires (besides Serana) are evil? I know the power tends to attract evil to it, but what about the guy in Morrowind who searched for a cure?
Matthew Chirino well he was looking for a cure, he didn't want to be a vampire lol
Matthew Chirino there is a piece full vampire couple in skyrim that live in a mil
Matthew Chirino helgi and that little girl in dark brotherhood are vampires
Indoril Nerevar helgi died before transforming Babette is probably the most dangerous vampire in the game i would say she is more intimidating than Harkon lol
Nocturnal Siren If you look around their mill you can find human skeletons. Not so peaceful now, eh?
When I killed Laelette I decapitated her. Her head must have rolled 20 yards down the hill. Her husband ran up, took one look at the headless corpse and assumed she was a vampire. Pretty good detective skills when he couldn't even see the fangs xD.
Also, interesting thing is if you go to Alva's house during the daytime Hroggar will not be there but Alva will. You can kill her without laying a finger on him. If you complete the quest he just goes about his life as normal, the spell over him broken.
You can also use a calming spell on him
When I did this quest neither of them were there, but I found Alva after killing the master vampire, and she didn't attack me or anything just said a few random lines like "can I help you"
Yeah and the weird part is that when I enter at daytime and find alva in her her coffin, she doesn't even try to attack me, she just runs away from that room and disappears
Funniest is a Horse is a Witness if you decide to kill a Guard. Maybe Animals arent in a state of ignorant bliss after all!
@@smiley4995 I have Laelette as a Dead thrall equipped with a 1000 damage sword and a fuckton of health
Morthal is the Detroit of Skyrim.
Ssff
Not enough redguards then
I think you mean winterhold because it used to be a great city
I say riften
No riften is the Detroit of Skyrim, Markarth is the Alabama of Skyrim, morthal is the Florida of Skyrim, solitude is the new York of Skyrim, whiterun is the Texas of Skyrim, falkreath isfall Maine of Skyrim, and winterhold is the Alaska of Skyrim, dawnstar is the Chicago of skyrim, and windhelm is the south Carolina of Skyrim.
11:03 "We need to take this to the Jarl. But lemme straight up eat this dude first."
one thing i find weird is that in a world where magic is a thing even in a place like Skyrim no one tried to put out the fire with frost magic
i dont think everyone knows how to that
I love how it's a city of water and has buckets but they don't use any of the water 😂
I hate frost magic...
Those were cold harbour fire or vampire fire, so it would not be easy
+revolutionalist
Flames of Coldharbour are blue.
i love Ravenrone's quotes. This is my fav "In Morthal, there is little to rule. But there is much to teach. And so, I am Jarl." The way she says 'And so, I am jarl.' is just awesome, really feels like shes come to terms with her life and the world around her.
I did this mission recently. So glad to kill movarth. Almost killed me in earlier levels. Felt like a freaking legendary belmont after killing him, harkon, and miraak
MegaCloud05 Too bad there are no whip type weapons
@@ForestofCicadas - they WERE going to be added in, but Bethesda took 'em out at the last second. Same with spears.
Im planning on making a belmont character next playthrough. Who should I do, a straight up melee guy (Trevor) who haunts Daedra or a spellsword (Richter)?
Great video. Could have been fun with an evil twist at the end, since you contracted vampirism in the fight. The vampires had been defeated, but three days later a new one rise....
just like Movarth's
downs cure disease and visits a temple "this is the second time this year damn it"
Thats my plan on next playthrough
Thats what happened to me in my first playthrough
Morthal = Thalmor
oh my god your right
Armoured Productions On my first playthrough I thought that was where the thalmor came from... xD
Armoured Productions
Holy cow you are right
Armoured Productions Brilliant!!
Armoured Productions
...
As Alex Jones as that shit is... you might be onto something.
just recently finished that quest. i dont think ive had to ever apply so many potion buffs when dealing with any threat in this game. i had to dampen shock damage, boost magic resistance, buff two handed, heavy armour, health, stamina. and bring a companion and ONLY JUST came out on top
mrchoochoohead
Where you level 4?
mrchoochoohead yeah movarth almost killed me earlier levels. I just stumbled upon a cave and boom all the thralls and then movarth with his vamps casting spells on me I ran out with low health almost dead lol but now I utterly destroyed him lvl 60 and used full fire breath shout on him. One shot him. Then I cleared out all other vamps and thralls with auriels bow. Felt like a belmont. :) I'm a werewolf by the way roleplaying as link a bit with sword shield bow and arrow and werewolf acting as link turning to a wolf
KnightCaster u can kill them easier earlier if your s theif tbh
nope but playing as a non-mage knight with poisons. the boss vamp is very resistant to poisons
yeah a sneak crit build makes mincemeat of dungeons filled with enemies like this
I said it way back when. This would have been an even better place if you could have sided with the Vampires and helped turn Morthal into a town full of Vampires.
@Shyam Dattani .What like Hert and Hern? Are you telling me the rest of that region isn't aware they are Vampires? The reason they didn't add what I suggested in my original post was down to plain old lazy writing. In an rpg choice is the key ingredient. There's a frigging great big Castle full of Vampires to the West of Solitude so a town that's been taken over would hardly register or at worst they'd be ignored. Skyrim is set up with provincial rule so unless something huge happens its highly likely that Morthal would for the most part go unnoticed.
19:44 I love how just some random NPC walks in the middle of an organized mob.
Quite ironic how now you have Sanguine Vampirisis
AKA Face Aids.
19:56
I found alva sleeping in movarths lair. After I killed all the vampires, I woke her up and she said "Hmmm?"
I love going there and wiping out the coven as a vampire. I feel like Blade or Alucard from Hellsing
The thing that annoys me more about Morthal is that Falion can't coexist with the Laid to Rest quest. I mean the dude has studied vampires estensively to the point he can recognise a first stage vampire with just a glance and knows how cure one, how he didn't notice what was going on? And no, I am not buying that he and Alva has the "routine" programmed in a way that makes it impossible for them to meet. They could have just placed Falion somewhere else, maybe one of the half forgotten little towns or one house isolated in the wild.
Falion could have noticed that Alva was a vampire, and just didn't see everything else that was going on. After all, he won't be hostile to the dragonborn if they are a vampire. There are some peaceful vampires in the game and Falion knows that vampires can coexist peacefully with men and mer. Until Hroggar's house burned down he would have no reason to suspect Alva of foul play. Maybe the canon answer is that it was Falion who killed Morvath? And we'll see a Vampire Lord Falion later in another game?
If you are vampire one of the vampire citizens will say to you something along the lines of (dont exactly remember) "This is our town go find your own" ye something like that. also i wish we could join the vampires
Alexia Tineo dawnguard lol
Dawnguard* and that's actually three words lol.
by that i meant the morth vampires i have se on 2 consoles
"I know you for what you are. This town's blood is ours, leave it! Now we must return to our roles, lest the sheep suspect the wolves."
So morthal really does suck
+Jayden Troselj ha haaaaa
Are you Camel in disguise?
Well it's still better than Markarth. That place is all kinds of messed up.
BGgungame Markarth is the Alabama of skyrim
Markarth you walk in you get shot and you walk out a cannibal...
I love when quests give you the option not to use the mob. I feel so guilty if anyone dies, I always prefer to do quests alone
Helgi passing on is one of the creepiest things to experience playing this game.
I wish there was an option to join Movarth and enslave all of Morthal
You should do these style videos for Oblivion I'm sure many of us would enjoy seeing another elder scrolls game you can cover. Great video as always!
BiggyDion What about Skyblivion?
BiggyDion I agree! There is so much more stuff in Morrowind and Oblivion. Skyrim was great but is a lot more barren and stripped down.
Venom Force Yeah man there's so much more content that can be used of these great games!
Yeah, FudgeMuppet needs to make more diversity with their vids.
Kind of poetic, how you killed a vampire, then contracted vampirism yourself
I have like 1400+ played and I have gone to morthal like 5 times, really pointless place.
DoomCorrupted I go there to buy bound weapon spells early if I'm a mage
It's a good place for a man to settle down, hunt some monsters and eat some human flesh in peace.
DoomCorrupted I go there to get the vampire disease from Laid to Rest.
I go there to recruit Anum-La, but that's it. Not even mods can make the place interesting.
Well, it's the only place in Skyrim where you can go swimming in slaughter fish infested waters and not get eaten ...🙃
i killed alva because i wanted her tavern clothes XD
Darth Maar I think a lot of people did. They are one of the rarest clothes in the game, and killing Alva is a legal way to get them without a high pickpocket level
I made her a slave after taking her clothes 😂
Darth Maar I killed her in her coffin two years ago in terms of game time. Her body is still there
there a collectible item xD
Okoye's Wig my game time in years doesn’t seem to progress after 203
You completely missed one of the most heart wrenching parts of this quest. You can interact with the coffin and speak to Helgi again once you've killed Laelette. She explains more in detail about the events of that night that you don't find in Alva's journal. It actually made me cry.
You looking for vampires and feeding on a corpse! LOL!
"we need to take this to the jarl immediately" eats a corpse
When I did this quest, I had Serana with me. It would seem that Clan Volkihar finally got their revenge. Funny how that works when you refuse to bring Serana to her father and just take her with you on your adventures in Skyrim.
that one vampire with boots not only had his boots but also looked like she had priest robes in her inventory... maybe she was the author of that book?
Riley Campbell that was the inventory of the player.
These lore/walkthrough vids are quality, good work lads :)
This was so much fun. Hopefully there were more of these videos. I will say that we may not be necessarily done with Movarth. He cannot be raised or disintegrated and every time we return to the cave after some time he will be there. I’m sure this is just an oversight but it’s fun to imagine buy some trick or ancient knowledge he is able to escape his final end.
I love the style of your lore videos. The first person narrative is unique and intriguing. Keep up the good work!
I'd like some lore on pelagius the mad. I've read most of the books in skyrim concerning him,I'd just like to hear you read them.
Troncoso what do you mean wtf?
Or add more to the lore of the books from more than Skyrim sources. That would be fun.
Read that an Plaguis and thought you were going to go into the tragedy of Darth Plaguis the wise.
That one american same, haha
Septic Bile q
I adore these quest videos, I always loved Immortal blood. I remember reading the first time out side of the ruin across from the sewer exit in oblivion. It was tucked in a bandits tent which had garlic hanging from the top. Yet still I never connected the dots between the main character of the book and the the vampire in this quest. Really awesome to learn! Thank you guys for the awesome content.
" The smoke woke me up.
I was hot, and I was scared, so I hid.
Then it got cold and dark.
_I'm not scared anymore._ "
That recounting...
Chilling. Really sticks with you.
Rented a room at the Inn, and told Lydia to guard my room while I slept. I was about to turn in when Alva marched right past Lydia, sat down next to my bed, and just watched me... naturally, I didn't get much sleep.
These lore videos are great :)
I'm super stealthy so managed to sneak past Hraggar after completing the quest he comments that the vampire had a huge hold over him and thanks me for setting g him free
The Jarl is related to MaMa Murphy think about it there both elderly ladies that can see the future after taking drugs
Its funny though because she does sound like a sped up mama Murphy without the lung cancer
I doubt the Jarl takes drugs/potions. It's most likely hereditary as her grandson has these visions as well, claiming himself "lost" and "not here".
TheJinx1441 I was making a joke
I love immortal blood and I have but one problem: why didn't that dumb Movarth realise that he only speaks with the priest at night time?
Movarth was choosing to visit the priest only at nighttime. It's not like that was a clue about the priest's vampirism.
I sometimes forget to leave a like, but I always enjoy these, I hope you'll have more of them in the future.
Lol Movarth turned him into a vampire before he died. He must continue the coven!
This quest is unimmersive, everyone knows children can't die in skyrim, thus Helgi can't be a ghost. I find your lack of consistency disturbing Bethesda. For shame!
its obv a fake child
All along she was just using invisibility and muffle
Lmao, I like how Eola is just chilling around there
19:45 Love how that guy just walked through the gathered mob like nothing was going on. xD
You can also Save hroggar, you can sneak by him and he will thank you afterwards
It's come to the point where one of the reasons I'm waiting for Elder VI is to see the guys at Fudgemuppet dissect in videos.
I love the random Nord casually walking through an angry mob.
I love these series because when I do these quest, I mindlessly follow the waypoint and spam click my way to finishing a quest. Then I find these vids while working.
I love this new series! Keep up the great work
I really enjoyed the format of this video!
19:45 that random guy just minding his own business though xD
I like how the "able-bodied warriors" are a bunch of civilians who can't tell their ass from their elbow, yet doesn't think to send any of the guards
Make a ranger, Viking and/or knight build, the ranger would be knives and a bow possibly the dragon bone bow, the Viking would be mainly one handed axes and a shield and a knight either a one or two handed sword. Ranger would play as a stealth build with light armour, Viking as a tank light armour and the knight would be an all around heavy armour build. I'm more than happy to help with any extra ideas you may need but really can't see why these builds haven't been made yet! Seriously you guys could make these builds awsome
Man is surprised by a home invader with a knife in the middle of the night: “He came at us crazed, we had no choice but to defend ourselves.”
In my last playthrough Hroggar survived and thanked me afterwards. I didn’t know that could happen:-)
This reminds me of Skyrim detective. Except without all the deadly puns.
"Frostbite spiders lovely" lol
I love how he doesn't care that he contracted Saguinare Vampiris after fighting Movarth.
Am I the only one who thinks Immortal Blood comes across as extremely "Interview With The Vampire"-ish? The subtle subtext, tone, dialogue, and even the two main characters seem inspired by that. Anyway Immortal Blood was a good story, one if the best ones I've read from all the in-game books. Didn't see the plot twist coming at the end! :P
It's interesting when I got one of the few alternate start mods on the ps4 I started as a sellsword in Morthal. Decided I was hot shit and went straight to the vampire lair. Got my ass handed to me.
TBF Alva is smoking hot though!
I realize you were making the video as exciting to watch as possible but your battle against Movarth shows exactly why I stick an arrow in his gob at range from stealth. Before doing any vampire hunting on purpose I make sure to have a well improved dragonbone bow to legendary with dual enchantments of fiery soul trap and shock or fire and shock hold the soul trap. No contracting Sanguinare Vampirus, no downing Ultimate Healing potions to avoid near death experiences just one and done. The last is dead before any one ever detects me. Bye, bye fang faced blood sucking parasite, good night! Thanks for all the awesome video! Immortal Blood is one of my favorite Skyrim books. It's right up there with the 7 vol. series "A Dance in Fire." So, thank you for including a brilliant reading of "Immortal Blood" in the video.
I've never seen Alva actually die in the town during this quest. She was either in the cave or at home when you enter it for her journal.
Give me a sweet roll or else...
AlexWantsBacon2 that would be a threat
(.Y.)
*gives sweet roll*
No. I won't feed you your bad addiction.
*Investigated the burnt house, uncovered a evil plot, and saved the entire village from becoming a vampire blood bank.*
Also the Jarl: You need to do more to prove your worthy of becoming a Thane.
I have done this quest dozens of times, I thought this was one of the spookiest skyrim quests.
"I broke into his house and for some reason attacks on sight, no choice but to defend myself"
Should be a defense lawyer, flawless logic
They're building a vampire coven in Morthal! We have to take this information to the Jarl immediately! Right after I take a few quick bites of some Hroggar jerky...
I am in love with your videos.Keep up the great work
"I can't tell you now, the other one, she's so close."
Turns around.. sees Eola right there staring at you.
"Let's go tell the Jarl" *meantime eats a corpse*
Really would've liked to see you guys play as your dawnguard build, good vid either way
I love how even as a vampire lord you can never amass a coven like movarth. Never enough thralls
@Madam Meouff how, just because he's dragonborn dosnt mean nothing you'd have to conquer it maybe whith the held of a dragon or somthing.the emperor's don't have dragon blood he was a decendant of a colovian warlord who conquered the empire nobody's going to respect your claim since Its the meds dynasty not the septim or the remen but if you very seductive and a powerful necromancer maybe you could start a cult of necromancer and control the empire in secret throuh illusion magic
I honestly love Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone; she's a bold psychic that doesn't hesitate to say what's on her mind. Not to mention that she doesn't just go by plain heresay, Dragonborn or no. Not to mention that her distraction during Diplomatic Immunity is hilarious~!
"Traitorous bitch!"
Really classy there, Jarl.
Super chill way to deal with Hroggar and Alva: stop by the mill during the day and chop firewood for Hroggar, wait until 8pm when Alva heads off toward the Inn, break into Hroggar's home, get a verbal chiding from him but not have him attack since you're considered a friend for selling the firewood, grab Alva's journal and head out to Morvath's lair, Alva will help you fight off the vampires due to her confused scripting, Hroggar will thank you for freeing him from Alva, but Alva moves back into town like nothing happened, The End.
I really enjoy this format.
that was really good, everyone should read the books in the game, it makes things so much more interesting please do more of these!
This might be a fate for Dawnguard faction. Even most nobel vampire hunter was turned in the very beasts he was hunting.
“To make Morthal into a blood farm for their covet...”
*Dragonborn devouring Hroggar’s flesh*
Movarth's boots are not to be dismissed if you do not yet have the sneak enchantment. Learn sneak from his boots and dual enchant your own adding muffle and they never hear you coming. Muffle, unfortunately, is one of the most rare enchantments to learn as most boots bearing this rare enchantment are unique. Sneak, however, is an easier enchant to learn and can be applied to multiple items like jewelry and armor. That's something I'd like to see for TESVI, if you can cast a spell then you can enchant that spell. Would save a lot of frustration.
I like the way you make quests look fun to play.
Can you make a half snow elf build like there ancestors were snow elves try to make it a little lore friendly
I actually was able to sneak past Hroggar with the Shadowcloak of Nocturnal. I managed to clean out Alva's entire house of valuables right in front of him, too.
"You look sick. I hope it's not contagious" DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! The vampire is dead...?
Not gunna lie I thought this vid would suck but it was amazing keep this stuff up
I was thoroughly entertained!! Please make more videos like this!!
This is like if oxhorn did elder scrolls. I love it
Greetings, FudgeMuppet team! So, I have a video suggestion for you guys: "Which followers deserves becoming BLADES?"
The thing is, when the quest to recruit new members for The Blades was given to me I just did not know who to choose. I considered many aspects to try to elect the 3 new Blades, shuch as effectiveness in battles against dragons, general "power", lore "deservness"... But never came to a conclusion. Tired of burning my brain, I searched for any TH-cam video that would help me out making this IMPORTANT choice. For my surprise, I couldn't find any video about it! So, here I am given you this idea! I really think it would be a intresting video for most viewers. Thanks for the attention.
Pedro Wilson good idea. I think you should choose a different rol character for each blade, for Example: 1 mage , 1 warrior And 1 assasin
1. The Mage mercenary in riften why because he has lighting bolt to take down a dragon fast best one one in my book
Jzargo is great, as he is one of the few followers that levels indefinitely. He is bugged to only use novice spells, but I think you can patch that on PC.
Kind of funny how Alva was killed before you got to the lair. In my playthrough, Alva was in Movarth's lair by the time I got her journal
