I don't know much about spray can caps so trying to learn. Came upon your video. Painted a car a few years ago using rustoleum protective enamel but did not turn out well. Painted my work van next and it came out much better with experience. Now want to paint a corolla that I purchased that has sun damaged paint. Thinking that using this cap may help. I am going to purchase from the link above. Any advise?
Only advice is start with light coats. Go back and forth with 50% overlap on your paint strokes. Work on individual panels. For final coat give it a medium wet coat. The goal is to get the paint to be smooth with no spray texture but not so wet that the paint starts to run. Try not to get overspray on panels that have had their wet coat because that will mess up the sheen. Best of luck with your project!

They fit Krylon ColorMaxx but not Fusion. The Valspar female caps at Trout Art Supply fit Fusion.
