There was something about 2007 era Transformers that for whatever reason almost everybody had an obscure design beyond our comprehension
Makes me hope we can see these crazy and random bots in future movie lines after ROTB

that or sometimes just basic g1 looking designs in bayformer clothing
I doubt it'll ever happen but imagine a titan class osprey transformer, you'd be able to fit deluxe carformers into the back and its scale would probably be pretty damn close to accurate.

I have a special relationship with this figure! I remember talking my mom into buying this for a gift for my friend’s birthday. Than after him having the figure for like 3 months I was able to talk him into trading toys for that one . Best long con I ran.

@@6shot9 I would like to see if we could get studio series bruticus since there's tlk onslaught, dotm vortex, 2007 swindle and rotf blast off since i once saw a leg mode for studio series brawl. Would be cool to have another combiner in the ss line besides devastator

still hoping we get a SS-like subserie for these guys. they clearly had a bunch of ideas they wanted to do and took advantage of not being constricted by the on-screen charaters and so many of that are just good an unique enough to be worthy the upgrade in tech

i do miss some of the creativity that they had back in the day coming up with figures like this and I'm really glad u go over these itz really cool to see them again!!!! and i hav every movie 1 n 2 figures still in packaging never opened i think im gonna pull them out and look at them again

I remembered the commercial that feature this guy, Landmine and Stockade. It had me thinking that they were going to play a key role in the future live action projects.
I remember that commercial as well, not to mention nightwatch Optimus that appears in it as well. Good times
He's a goated 07 goon up there with the kings like Stockade and Dropkick. Love this goofy osprey fellow
No matter how impossible it may be I still hope every day that studio series visits some of these old designs that never appeared in movie. So many have so much potential.
Recently got deluxe jazz (final battle version tho) and I would be interested to see a review on it because I was actually surprised with how much I love it, especially that car mode, but robot mode is also a lot of fun
i remember having this toy when i was younger (like 5-7) & it just seemed so odd & obscure but i still loved it
This is funny , but incinerator was ( if im not mistaken ) a wip name for soundwave's character ( just a placeholder name )
So soundwave was suppposed to be in place of blackout and one of the other placeholder name was incinerator along with ravage ( worked into scorponok )
So this toy is a concept that they adapted some of the scrapped idea ( ex : stryker )
he looks like that one version of pohatu in the phantoka line

Fun fact for anybody who didn't know this there was a upgrade kit for Transformers 2007 allspark Power incinerator that turned his propellers into articulated fingers there was a guy on TH-cam who did a review on incinerator with the upgrade kit but I can't find his channel anymore I think it might have gotten taken down so anyone who can find the name of the guys TH-cam channel please let me know
Cakedup, he deleted his channel a looong time ago and I think it was a mod he did himself not a upgrade kit

Love this figure. I still have him and a few other Allspark figures back at my parent’s house. I imagined him and Stockade being the Dropkick and Shatter of the 07 movie

I had him in my collection since I was small and looking back at it, it was a great figure
I like the handle at the back, the leaning pose you put it in makes it look like a man- shark
I wish Springer wasn't cut from ROTF. Would have been cool to see Incinerator repainted to give us a new Springer toy, considering it never got a repaint and the only figure we got of Springer was a small legion class toy
The colors remind me of DoubleDealer
When ever k look at that things hands reminds me of that part in Indiana jones where the guy is shredded to pieces
The right one on mine broke too a few years ago, glad to hear it’s a common issue. One of the rare few transformers I bought just because of the alt mode

End of last year I got the first movie deluxe scorponok, who has a similar setup for spinning claws wherever they are pointed. Picked him up second hand, and only one of them really does it anymore. But he is 15 years old, I'm not upset
I loved this figures so god damn much when I was younger, and even now.
This is very cool, did you know that Revenge of the Fallen legends class Springer turns into an Ofsprey too.
All I think when I see him is "Bro sacrificed the means to functionally live for the sake of his alt mode"

this was one of my favorite transforners back then.
This, and I think it was Highbrow were some of my favorite movie inspired aerial bots from this era of Transformers. Highbrow too had a propeller geared gimmick as well as detachable miniguns, and rolling landing gear. Trying to remember now if that one hands or had the same non hand chopping propellers of Incinerator.
The highbrow mold had proper hands that could hold weapons and the propellers were on the sides of the arms (I have the powerdive version of the mold and I'll say it's pretty good though)
For some reason incinerator reminds me of the search drone in FOC
I saw a fan upgrade which used 2 legion class airachnid helicopter blade pieces for articulated fingers

Osprey one those helicopter forms we never get i was about to ask isn’t that form with animated megatron
I stillnhave my first one after it was released at zellers.. (before target took over and fooked it all up) thankfully... the rotors still work!
Just got my hands on this guy for 35$ bucks sealed, he is legit my favorite 2007 figures and one of my all time favs, now time to find the all black takara version
I thought his eyes were the circles on the side😂😂
Finally, Pohatu Phantoka transformer
I got mine back in August. The rotors were suppose to work but they came not working. Figure is still good though.
Frankly, I don't think we get enough helicopter modes.
I can’t speak for other figures, but on mine the cockpit pieces popped off. Putting them back on for some reason made them sit at an angle like at 1:55. It didn’t compromise the transformation at all but imo it looked much better than the two pieces just sitting flat
I had the thini version of this guy and strangely enough that version had hands.

I got this figure when it came out and both of my rotors still work
yeah a studio series of that would look good but i would change something,the props like you said,you wish they turned into claws but i have a different idea,the props do the fold thing and they rotate into the arm section and real hands come out.
Ospreys helicopters are so cool, I wish there were more transformers of them even if they're not Has-Tak.

The person who came out with this design decision had watch Edward scissor hands movie alot.
im just tryna figure out how the hell the gimmick works, the engine sections are attached the the arms by thin wing panels and i can't see any linkage through it and all the joints, crazy black magic
This figure is a prime example of the era, of an otherwise wonderful figure design ruined by the period's insistance on 'play feature gimmicks' that were badly executed.
