Recreating 4 Hollywood Film Scenes in 12 Hours - ULTIMATE LIGHTING CHALLENGE

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 11 ก.ค. 2024
- Can we re-create 4 ICONIC Hollywood Film scenes in just 12 hours... AND with only a specific set of lights!?
We go above and beyond with set design, costume, lighting, cinematography, vfx and more.
Ladies & Gents, we are bringing you one of our biggest productions so far. A seemingly IMPOSSIBLE Lighting challenge, where we re-create 4, beautiful film scenes in just 12 hours. We partnered up with Nanlite, who set the bar really high and provided us with some super cool lights to make this a reality.
As always, we do our best to take our filmmaking too far and we hope that this is another video that shows this. From adding an extra, bonus scene, through to laying our own floor - we pulled out the stops for this one. Huge thank you to @NanliteGlobal without whom, this challenge would not have been possible.
If you enjoyed this video, you will probably enjoy another lighting challenge, where we lit 4 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT scenes in a TINY AirBnB: • We made 4 Short Films ...
00:00 - Intro
00:32 - The Joker
03:32 - Margot Robbie in Babylon
05:59 - A24 Talk to Me
08:05 - Bonus Scene

Yes, you did get it on audio and I wouldn’t disagree, your rain effect is more realistic than the original film. I think you nailed all of these clips.
Thank you SO much! That's like the highest order of compliment given the level of these productions. Can you believe though that the Electrical department had to step in on the actual set of Talk to Me to do this rain effect!?
This has to be the best recreation of lighting from movies I've seen on TH-cam wow you guys killed it!!! This proves that knowledge and experience are key in achieving anything even on a budget, this is very inspiring to me especially where lighting is concerned, excellent job guys!
Thank you so so so much! This means the absolute world to us and we are so happy to hear that. Thank you for your kind words.
This video is so damn good! You guys knocked it out of the park!! I freaking love the Joker set-up.
Thank you so much Zach! We really appreciate it ♥️ Joker was definitely one of Bart's faves
Bloody hell folks - this is amazing, really inspired by these setups!
Thank you so much Ed! So happy you enjoyed the vid.
Came from your Facebook link and stayed and subbed because this tutorial was as entertaining as it was inspiring--makes me want a masked-gaffer now!
He's a great guy our gaffer! Thank you so much for dropping by and subscribing. We promise more epic filmmaking vids like this one and we will have more in-depth breakdowns for these scenes coming soon ☺️
Another masterpiece has been blessed upon us
Hahaaha we love you ❤️
This was awesome guys, proper dedication to your craft - loved the setups, Joker and Talk To Me in particular!! Nailed it 👍🏻
OMG that bonus scene is one of my favourite! good job!
🙌
I think one of my faves too :) Can't go wrong with a vintage lens and a LOOOT of haze.
@@TRIOStories haze is life
guys, this video is crazy 💥🔥
Hehe thank you so much 🙏🏼 we had so much fun making it. Really appreciate you!
It turned out SO GOOD! These final shots are so close to the originals! Taking into account that it was done on the absolutely achievable budget and time with no crew in comparison to the movies blows my mind. Stunning work team!
You had a great part in it! Thank you for all of your help and the awesome BTS.
Masterpiece! Pure pleasure to watch! 😍
So glad you liked it. Thank you! ☺️
OMG I have no words guys! 😍You replicated the lighting of my favourite film "Joker" and my favourite series "Euphoria". And all the lighting scenes were soooo freaking accurate!
It's amazing to see how you used the different Nanlite lights to shape each part of the scene. I can't wait to see full lighting breakdowns!
The Euphoria scene though... that lighting is soooo good for portrait photography. 🥹
Looking forward to your next videos. And to see you soon in this part of the world hopefully! ❤
Absolutely! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our vid - we appreciate that so much. And thank you for all the lovely words 😍♥️
Insane video! Like always!

It's honestly a BEAUTIFULLY filmed show. Thank you again for your constant support. P.S. - You were the first to know that this one was dropping! :)
@@TRIOStories thank you for allowing me to be the first to know about this drop, that's special. i've not watched that show, but your comparison of all those shows and films, were mind blowing. fantastic. honestly i must try watch Euphoria, i might have to look it up. cheers.

This was probably the most enjoyable film video I’ve seen in a while
😮 that’s the best comment ever, soo soo happy you enjoyed it and thanks for letting us know. We really appreciate it ❤️
That babylon scene in love, great work would love to do something like that with you 🔥
Hey! Absolutely, we would love to collab on something like this. These challenges are some of our favourite vids to make and we're thinking we need to double down on this format. So glad you liked it - the Babylon scene was so rewarding, especially since we layed our own floor! :D
@@TRIOStories yes I really enjoy the format :)
Great job! How did you gys create the graphics In the intro!? Looked great!
Thank you!! We have an amazing and super talented animator and graphic designer Aga. ♥️
would be nice to see a breakdown white balance of lights and camera, and the same for post production.
We’ll work on it 🙌🏼
the results look great! I was however desiring more details about the lighting & modifier choices over the spare verite b-roll of the masked guy setting up..
Hey! Of course we completely understand. We have more in-depth breakdowns of each scene coming soon on the channel. This video was strictly in the form of the challenge.
@@TRIOStories ok i will look forward to it
This is awesome. And I am only two minutes in!
So glad you're enjoying it! ☺️
excellent work i will try this best regards from egypt
Thank you! Best of luck with your reproductions!
Euphoria scene was dope🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much! I think that was my favourite too (Bart 🙋🏻)
Good stuff! What Accsoon system did you use to transfer to Ipad?
Thank you so much! We used the Cineview Nano ☺️
nice wrok !
Thank you!
Looks sweet!! Could you share what tool you use to make the light overview drawings? 🙏
Thanks so much! Our graphic designer actually made them for us - she’s incredible! - @zavadventures
Guys.... 😍
🥹🥹🥹🥹
Nice work! I'm assuming this is going to submit to Shotdecks competition?
Thanks so much! ☺️ yess we will definitely enter!
Hell yeah!!
That’s 100% David Chomiak in the mask.
Never heard of him 🌝
Did you use Monitor+ app in Ipad ?
We used the Cineview Nano + Accsoon SEE App it’s literally our favourite setup. We’ve got a video about it actually if you want to know more!
The guy with the mask look like Danny Gevirtz
Update: I saw the ending not him
Correct! Not Danny Gevirtz but would be amazing to one day work with Danny ☺️
Is it bradley basetes lighting...?
Heeey! Good guess :) It's not Brady but we would love to work with Brady one day ☺️
Good results but unfortunately no description whatsoever as to what color temperatures and kelvin settings were used which to me renders this video mostly a show off rather than a solid tutorial
Hey! Thank you so much for watching and thank you for your comment. We have full, in-depth breakdowns for each scene coming soon. This first video was purely intended as a fun, filmmaking challenge.
We are hardly learning cuz you are not explaining how its lit.
This is the challenge video! We’re going to have more specific breakdowns coming soon - where we explain each scene properly :)
