Your videos inspired me to buy e-bikes and try some builds, I just bought a M2S Sport HT for $1,199. I was searching forever for an affordable ebike that isn’t fat tire and has a decently torque spec’d geared hub motor over 500w and there’s very few. I found the Sondors MXS, Biketrix Hub Duo, Blix Sol Eclipse, Magnum T7, and Ride1Up LMTD but they’re too pricey for what you get. I just got a waterproof 60v KT 35 amp controller and 60v 20ah dorado battery that’s plug and play for the M2S’s Bafang G060 motor I can’t wait to try it out on these 27.5x3” wheels.
I know you mentioned in a previous video that the multi motor builds are fun but not efficient, but if you are looking to mod your BBS02 bike Bafang finally just came to market with the 750w G0900 geared hub motor on Amazon/AliExpress for non fat tire bikes and you could have a dual 750w motor build:)

Thanks mate, i appreciate the kind words! 🥳 it’s great to hear i inspired you to get into e-bikes! Your M2S sounds like it will be awesome on the 60V battery with a 35 amp controller! Good call on 60V, it will be great 👍 high voltage really brings them alive. I’ll have to check out the bafang g0900! I’ve thought about another motor on my bbs02 bike, but i don’t want it to get too heavy. My fat bike is crazy heavy with all the motors. I find a lot of value in also having a lightweight mid drive bike with quick release wheels that can be maintained easily. Thanks again for the comment, i appreciate the kind words! 🙏

I'm a noob who loves your videos and just build a 4500 Trek 26" 8-speed with the BBSO2 750w Bafang. Unfortunately, opted for the base battery 48v-10ah battery with a 3 amp charger. I got about 130 miles on it. The battery sucks and drains quick at pedal assist 5 & the motor got very hot yesterday. didn't stop working. I changed out 11-34 oem cogs for the 11-46 cogs for more speed ranges. The rear hub is a little loose now. I tried to tighten but nothing changed. I hear a clucking sound at times shifting into lower gears at top speed. I think this noise is from the motor? This only happens full throttle max assist for speed flat surface.

@@EBikeBuilder_ I figure for starters build it better myself didn't want to spend $2000
Yup, now the prices are reasonable. For example, the M2S Sport Ht cost approx $1200 about the same as the cost to build mine!

The one on the bottom left? It's a go pro feature. The cam he's using is a GoPro and it records GPS data as well.
