If you're gonna mention rare gloves, then it's fair to throw in the crafted blood gloves on your list. Getting a chance to get 10% cb puts it above the rare gloves.
There are some more: Bloodfists that are giving 30% FHR, 10% IAS, 40 HP and +5 min dmg and Frostburn (which are essential for all mana tanks due to +40% mana increase). Besides Chance Guards there are also several budget ones such as IK gloves, Cleglaw Gloves (slows target) and death gloves (due to nice combination with sash bonuses).

I would like to point out that trangs has +25% poison damage which personally I value more than 1 fire skills. plus early on cold res still can be a worrying( a lot of monsters ,especially archers, have big cold elemental damage on their attacks) it’s better than no res on my gloves slot. With the poison damage I feel there are the same number of builds that use poison. These are best in slot on rabies,poison/plague Java(big buffs in 2.4), poison necros . It’s close, but on builds that don’t benefit from the fire or poison. I feel 30 cold res is better than regen mana. I would go the other way if it was 25% max mana.
I generally agree. Though I’d say ghoulhide deserves a mention. It’s laying of hands but for undead. Let’s melee farm places like AT and mausoleum easy.

As many oldskool players might recall we formed EF late .09 in hardcore classic Europe. We merged from several older clans which started to fade.
I found magefists relatively early, and then learned about upgrading items. I didn't pay attention to the instructions tho, so now I have magefists, with a measly increased defense, and a 150 strength requirement on my sorc....cries in "not using magefist"

I've been trying to craft / gamble +2 to passive and magic / +20% IAS gloves for a while; only ever managed to craft +10% IAS so far although I was able to craft +20% IAS / +2 to martial arts for my assassin. Back to the cubing I guess. 🙂 Of unique gloves, I'm partial to the humble Hand of Broc, and I was able to find these some time ago for the first time. A pretty good way to start off with dual leech, +20 mana and +10% poison resist. They have ~49 defense when upped to exceptional which is not too shabby, and 74ish when elite, too. A cheapskate's Soul Drainer. 🙂

Pretty sure at some point everybody is going to gamble regardless if they had a gold find barb or not and if you played for long enough while having enough extra gold items, youll eventually rack up enough gold for gambling amulets and stuff.
you have missed trangs 25 % poison dmg. now with the posion java coming up, maybe those will be useful. Poison, as we know does not profit from fast strikes due to dmg duration, so IAS is not as important. Yet they help with the faster cast needed when using enigma.
The most valuable gloves are 20 ias, 10 crushing blow, with 15+ str and dex crafted gloves. I have own all the perfect uniq gloves you just mention in the video they aren’t worth much. The most expensive uniq glove in d2 was probably uniq orc gauntlet. I have own couple 20 ias with 10 cab glove with either +9 str or dex but never with both dex and str. I also own couple +3 java Amazon 20 ias magical gloves.

The prob is though that the gloves make the difference often in the cast speed breakpoint, 105, because then it becomes a time issue, rather a bit faster than a bit more MF is the question, I go for faster. Just my opinion.

Most important gloves in Diablo 2 are definitely my compression gloves. Keeping away hand pain means more Diablo playing :)

I sold some rare 2/20 jav gloves with some sort of resist on them and maybe one other decent mod, for like a Sur rune, I was blown away.

Just melee, and I believe it also applies to bow weapons as well.

Chancies aren't worth it, you get nothing but some MF. I'd rather rares with 4-5 mods and 25% mf than Chancies.
Harder to find a decent pair, but I do agree that the others mods outweigh the 15% MF you lose.
