    Thank you for an awesome video. I was wanting to shoot the Kudu broadhead this year and this product will make resharpening so much easier.

    Thank's for this video ! Just to find something to change, I mean this kudupoints you use are "Contour PLUS". The "Contour" doesn't have a bleeder :)

    Great videos
    Here's my question that I haven't seen any one else ask
    In and out of Quiver must be dulling your blades? Any thoughts ? What about Olive Oil as rust Inhibitor?

      It would depend on the type of quiver. I shoot fixed blades and took out the foam in the head of my quiver and added small strong magnets with glue when I quiver up an arrow i let the magnet grab hold of the broad head then push the shaft into the quiver. Side bonus is with my quiver hung in the tree I can take a back up arrow and let the magnet hold it only so I can take it out quickly if I need it. Also come off season I use alcohol to clean it and then coat with any spray inhibitor wd40 ect and put them in a case. Always seames to work for me.

    What could I use to sharpen a 3 blade Valkyrie Jagger? It’s double-bevel 60 degree. I can’t seem to get them sharp using a grit wheel and paper wheel.

    Another great video! Is the "C" sharpener the correct one to use for a Helix Single Bevel Broadhead? I think it might work for it too.

    Would you rec a DMt honing rod for field use ( head still screwed to arrow and clamped to foldout table)? If so, fine or extra fine?

    If I am just touching up a brand new already somewhat sharp Kudupoint do you still recommend starting at a 400 grit? Also where does the Jewelstik fit in, does it replace the 1500 or 2500 grit?
    Thanks!

    How long should you have to work on it with the finer sand paper to get a burr? I’m missing something I can barely get it sharp enough to cut paper

      until you get a bur. That is the only unit of measure you care about. The foundation for success starts at 240 grit and your first burr (and then breaking off that burr. Repeat that with every grit and you will have a sharp blade.

    I tried to do everything you do in the video and at each grit of sandpaper I get a bur but at the end it is more dull than it is when I start. Any tips on what I may be doing wrong?

    • @innovativeoutdoorsman5067
      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      are you removing the burr from the back side each time with each grit at each step? THat is key. Any remaining burr will make it seem dull.

    What grit would I use to break the burr if I have to use the round file?
