  • In this video we go over the installation of the hot racing suspension limiting straps that prevent the rear suspension from over extending and breaking pushrod ends and shock ends.
    while this is only required on the rear of the truck because of my aftermarket rims and tires i am installing them on all the axles

    Thanks. Really appreciate the time you took to actually show with part numbers. So many people on TH-cam shows it already done but not what they used👍👍🤩

    Just ordered an E-Revo 2.0 and was able to find the 3 items I need. I also ordered the blue brace as mine will shipped with the stock one. Glad I found this. Great job going over this flaw I did not know about. I was able to find 2 of the 3 on Ebay and got the last set of M3 .5x25mm screws at one Depot. I believe you said the 3rd largest washer. Is this correct? I know this video is a year old but the best video for this project. Thanks

    Quick question bro,a little off the topic but I just got my E-Revo 2.0 not too long ago and mainly run 4S but every now and then I do run 6s, but only for street bashing,but my question is, is having the heat sink and those hot racing fans a major necessity? Would you reccomend it to a fellow E-Revo owner?

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey brother, if your the type that only runs 1 set of batteries and your done, no you don't really need it (unless your a constant full throttle type) but like I run 3 sets of batteries back to back so yes its good to have. The cooler you keep the motor the better it will perform & last
      Thanks for watching and taking your time to comment I appreciate it and you Please like share and subscribe its a huge help to the channel

    I am going to do this on my new E revo. I can't get the spacers in Australia (barely even found the straps on ebay). Do you think the spacers are necessary?

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would.use 80 or 79 without washers

    With the updates pushrods that traxxas started implementing is the straps still required?

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my honest opinion I will always use them. For the money they cost vs the money they can save with extreme or heavy duty use. Always remember traxxas engineers things to sell a product or a upgrade

    Do you think its going to work with 80mm straps or will it be to tight?

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Might loose some travel but try it may like the way it handles. Each truck can have few mm variance

    Why not use 90mm ? 85mm vs 90mm can you help me out? Thank you👍

    • @THEMANCAVE2023
      @THEMANCAVE2023  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sure 90mm is to long and it will not stop the suspension travel before ripping your tie rod ends out. Using 85mm. You only lose 1/8 inch or less of travel and that's way better than repairing your truck every hard run.
