I would like to ask two Questions one would be why does a Manager only gets 37,500 Dollars ? what kind of Manager gets so less money ? or is it per month ? I think it is much more profesional to say the salary per year instead of per month as far as I concerned and the seccond one. You gave the much younger Person your hand before the older one ... not sure If he is in the higher position but If not the older one gets the hand first... Hirachie before Age right ?

For those of you who think his style is too rigid or phoney, remember he is just providing great responses that you can personalize for you. He is portraying a confident and straightforward approach. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea...however he is just getting to the point and demonstrating interview responses...or if your approach is 10x better than this...then let's see it. lol

Having worked for several EU firms, as well as a South African and Japanese firms, the management style and techniques can differ greatly from what those in the US are accustom to working with. Wow! You absolutely nailed it! I am totally speechless! This has to be the best interview example I’ve actually seen so I had to like and subscribe to your channel to see more of what you have coming in the future. As an experienced Manager myself, I feel I’ve learnt a great deal of tips that would help me in my next interview. The only thing that I cannot do understand is why would someone press dislike on this video. Even though the number of dislikes is low it’s still shocking really. Keep it going, I am sure it will help many Managers to pass their interview or even give them that confidence.

Okay so this man is amazing!!! I went in for a general manager position. I didn't have any restaurant experience however!! They loved how I responded and how I was able to carry myself through the interview! Now they are making a new position for a senior assistant manager to train me to become a general manager! I just landed my first manager job because of the wise words mentioned in this video. You don't know it sir, but you've made me a very happy man. There was of course work on my end and i would seriously consider doing as much research on the company as you can and structure your answers to be inline with your actual personality and style, but all in all, the way you present these answers, thats what makes you stand out from the crowd and this man deserves a pint on me! I watched this video 5 + times and a couple of times before each stage of the interview.

This video gave me a whole different perspective on how I should be interviewing and working towards my goals. I would typically come in with my own goal in mind and a back story of my experience hoping to lead me where I need to go. However, you focus primarily on achieving the companies goals with a plan you're ready to put to use. Also acknowledging weaknesses and problems the company may have and how you'll resolve them. This is very helpful, thank you!

As a previous manager this is a great tool for potential managers to gain the skills required at interview. This is what I call the STAR method. (S) Situation - a time where you were put into this situation. (T) Task - What you had to do. (A) Action - What you did to complete the Task. (R) result - What was the outcome in the end. This was an awesome demonstration and an even better tool for those upcoming interview.

So I've gotta say, you have yourself a new subscriber. I've always hated the question "Tell us about yourself" because I never fully understood what was being asked of me. I recently interviewed for a management position in my company and I used this video to prewrite some questions that would come up with answers as well. 7 of the 9 questions I was asked I already had pre-written bulletpoints and I thought I nailed my interview. Turns out I did, as I had a second interview the next day with our regional manager and I crushed that one as well. I am sorry, but such answers would not land a job in the company I work for. This management style worked well in traditional command and control organizations. Modern and agile companies that are needed for the future need a very different leadership style. People are not lemons that you need to squeeze “to get the most out of it.” Your people are experts and you don’t need to tell them how to do the task. You only need to give them direction. You don’t need appraisal meeting to know the strengths and weaknesses of your team members...
