@@0698gingerich , but my friend’s father brought a W900 with a Cat 3406 from 1994 and it has the injection pump and it also has a computer. The throttle pedal is electronic. What model would that engine be ?
@Jose Delgado that is a PEEC motor it is a 3406C the PEEC stands for Pre Electronic Electronic Controlled...so the only thing Electronic on it would be the fuel pedal but you can convert that to a mechanical throttle linkage no problem
If u chance any plunger. Whit the pump You have to set the pump on time once you chance

3406c is a peek eng. This is not a peek. That is a b pump might be on a c engine but not a c pump

For a 3406b fuel injection pump, where does the tachometer cable screws into?
It attaches to the same place the hour meter attaches.
Bottom right corner below shut of solenoid you will have reset idle if adding a micro switch because you have to remove the idle set screw
